I’m confident that Sofi will beat earnings but lately many stocks have beat earnings but the price still drop. The roll function on the tiger brokers platform is really awesome. Got greedy and decided to wait for time decay for remaining 3 days. Ended up Estée Lauder went against my position. What could have been clean exit of 65% with re-entry at 160-165 strike with gd premiums, ended up become a half baked defensive roll to 150 strike with 1.88 premiums… could have gotten 3 times higher premiums with much better position. That’s when I sold this cash secured put even lower at $650. The counter continued to drop and at point of writing its already dropped another $65 to the $750 level. I opened $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ ,Nibble a little more of Nvidia. Pretty much exhausted all my cash vouchers in the last 3 trading days when the market was being hammered down. Nvidia had a big drawdown of 10%. Many value investors are taking the opportunity to add more share via buying it out right or selling CSPut with even lower strike prices. It is a good time to add some Nvidia who has missed this boat (like myself) however, the market likely to have further drawdown, but I can’t pick the bottom thus averaging down as it goes. Tread carefully with this current volatile market.
