The investment seeks to reflect the daily changes in percentage terms of the spot price of heating oil for delivery at the New York harbor, as measured by the daily changes in the price of a specified short-term futures contract on heating oil. The fund invests in futures contracts for diesel-heating oil, crude oil, gasoline, natural gas and other petroleum-based fuels. The Benchmark Futures Contracts are the futures contracts on diesel-heating oil as traded on the New York Mercantile Exchange that are the near month contract to expire, except when the near month contract is within two weeks of expiration.
