9 Aug Newbie's Blog: The forgetfulness of Investors
$Grab Holdings(GRAB)$sank 0.8 points due to Fed fears. Investors await Wednesday's announcement of the CPI to see whether inflation is abating.
I find it funny how sentiments can affect the price so much and make investors "forgetful". What never changes is the way a company operates and whether it's business model works. I will continue to hold despite sentiments.
My thought is one should always have a long term plan on investing and not be swayed by minor fluctuations. Like this one, it happens almost every month when the fed is going to announce the rate hike or CPI and sentiments, like the stock price goes up and down like a roller coaster.
Hold if you are confident and cater time (and not just money) to invest. This is always important to remember.
