I am bullish on SPY as it is the cornerstone of the current optimism in the US markets and the bellwether of the US economy. 

$SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$tracks the performance of the largest US stocks within the S&P500 universe.  It is the best recognised and the oldest US listed ETF established in 1993.

Top 10 Holdings include Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Tesla, Alphabet Class A and Class C, Berkshire Hathaway, United Health, Nvidia and Johnson & Johnson.

Top 10 Holdings weightage is 28.16%

Total number of Holdings is 506

Expense ratio is 0.09%.

Dividends are paid quarterly.  The current dividend yield is 1.43%.

In the past month, $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$has rallied and jumped 12% but Year To Date it is still down 9%.

If you are new to investing and have limited funds, you may consider $SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 ETF(SPLG)$ as it tracks the same index.  However its expense ratio is only 0.03%.  The main difference between the 2 ETFs is the market capitalisation and the liquidity.  SPY had a market cap of USD 386.2 billion and is very liquid.  SPLG has a market cap of USD 15.01 Billion and is great for the retail investor with a long term view.
