Why I'm BULLISH on Dividend Stocks?

I have been tracking this since 2022 when I first started investing in dividend stocks, it has been 2 years since. Dividend investing has taught me a skill which is the discipline that many of us have but seldom use. We might come out with reasons and excuses why this can’t be done or that can’t be achieved. But as I started investing more into dividend stocks, I saw the effort vs reward and decided that this was for me. In 2022, I ended the year with $593.15 in Dividends and this was tracked every month which helps me see my passive income stream. 2022 Dividend Income I did the same for 2023, but because I was unemployed for a while in 2023 due to retrenchment, there wasn’t much income for me to invest. And this was something that I regretted. Because if I had continue what I was doing on

BTC might reach $60,000 if all these works.

As I write this article, BTC is valued at ~US$52,000. It’s a short push to $60,000 given that halving is only 2 months away. Let’s discuss what it will take for BTC to hit that $60,000 mark and we can all go to the moon together! $100,000 Bitcoin after halving? What is BTC halving? It's an event where the reward for verifying transactions on the Bitcoin network gets cut in half, roughly every four years. Only 21 million Bitcoins are ever created, and halving helps control how quickly they enter circulation. Why Does BTC Halving Matter? Scarcity: By reducing the rewards, halving makes Bitcoin even scarcer, which, in theory, could push its price up if demand stays the same. Predictability: The halving schedule is built into the Bitcoin code, so everyone knows when it's happening and how muc

Should you invest in Dividend Stocks or Index Funds?

Let’s talk about whether Dividend Investing is something that you should be looking at! I have been investing in dividends for almost 3 years now and i could be biased, but I want to hear what you guys feel about dividend investing!
Should you invest in Dividend Stocks or Index Funds?
February seems to be dividend season!
$Berkshire Hathaway(BRK.B)$ The long hodling has worked out well!
Losing sleep over stocks is common these days with the market swinging so much. I lost sleep when I started trading options. It's not stock stock per se but trading options at that point in time was a horrible experience for me. I was waking up every 2-3 hours to check on my options and see if I got profits. And sometimes, my eyes are just glued to the screen. Something I learn from this experience is to know what you are buying and having conviction in the instruments that you got. Stay strong kings!

I opened 100.0 share(s) $Keppel DC Reit(AJBU.SI)$  ,Adding more ABJU at these prices for dividend yields! Current yield looking at 5.6% pretty good.
My family setup is a little different. my parents own a freehold penthouse and that's their investment because it has doubled in the last 5 years. My dad is more traditional and doesn't invest as much. My mum on the other hand is more savvy and adventurous. She begun investing in SSB with me during the covid season then slowly moved into T-Bills and now I'm getting her to slowly try some dividend stocks which will generate cash flow for her in her golden years. My partner on the other hand, always wants to invest but has never tried. We did a plan to buy 1 APPL share a month, but it lasted for 2 months, then the fire in her died because returns were not great. But when she sees my portfolio, she gets a little jealous. So I have to educate her that it's invested over time and not all in

Dividends collected in 2023

Been using TigerBrokers since they first started way back during COVID-19 and it kinda of sparked my dividend investing journey since then. I’m big on dividends because it provides me with a passive stream of income that I can use to reinvest and compound my money. If you are looking to start investing but not sure what or how, investing in dividends might be a potential way for you to get started! So in 2022, I collected a total of $589.50 in dividends over 12 months, which means I get an extra ~$50 per month to reinvest into my portfolio. This might not be a lot but when the amount is compounded, this will grow to a larger sum. Because the $50 is reinvested into more dividends stocks that will give me more dividend

Why you need a Dividend Portfolio?

The only reason you are reading this is because you want to earn extra income without spending time doing work. And I’m guilty of that as well. This is why I started a dividend portfolio that helps to give me some passive income. Suppose I lose my day job due to market volatility, retrenchment or for whatever reason. In that case, my dividends will provide some small money for me to continue sustaining my life, on top of my YouTube income as an additional income. But here, we will cover __ the reason you need a dividend portfolio. 1) Passive Income Stream! The most obvious reason is the passive income stream. This means not needing to work, but still getting some income. Dividends are a form of profit that is paid out to shareholders for holding a company’s stock during the ‘qualifying’ pe

$Tiger Brokers(TIGR)$  New Year, New Me! That's what everyone says.  But when you are investing, sometimes sticking to the plan that works, is the best plan. I'm a dividend investor and I enjoy collecting dividends in a good and bad market. Dividends provide me with cashflow to reinvest or buy riskier stocks for growth. If you haven't got a plan yet, don't worry. It's ok to start anytime, you don't have to start just because it's a new year. For beginners, look at Index Funds because it gives you diversification into a whole market($VOO). If you want something more specific like the tech industry, $QQQ can be something to look at. Otherwise, let me know what your new year plans are and let's have a discussion!

Added more ES3 as my dividend safe haven before the new year comes. this allows me to save 1% of GSTwhich means I pay less fees for the same stocks. And since Singapore has no dividend tax, this gives me more yield too.

If you are deciding to invest in crypto, the best way forward is either owning the asset, ie; buying BTC or ETH directly. Or doing derivativeS like options or perpetual swaps. Other than these 2 options, the risk in investing in a miner or ETF is kinda high risk low returns. I myself do own a miner that mines $HNT tokens and have been mining for more than a year. This allow me to take advantage of the low concentration of miners and get as much rewards as possible which I already broke even with my miner. Entering the mining space now poses 2 main risk. 1) Cost of miner is very high now. Which means harder to ROI or break even. 2) Too many miners around = harder to get rewards. If you are looking to invest in the ETF, do remember that the ETF tracks the asset class. There is management fee
