My humble opinion on the Fed’s decision is a noise pollution. What matters is the “expectations” via reading the tape. If the Fed pens a decision, accompanied by an inverse statement or claim as typically did so in the past, then it boils down to hedging portfolio mix using a broad diversified basket of financial instruments. Value is derived through various means, akin to Ray Dalio’s all-weathered portfolio ideology.
