Fresh quarterly economic projections released after the meeting will also shed light on how much further policymakers expect rates to go.

Economists surveyed by Bloomberg see that median estimate peaking at 4.9% after Powell said they will need to lift rates higher than previously anticipated. That implies the FOMC stepping down to 25 basis-point moves in February and March and then putting policy on pause. Fresh quarterly economic projections released after the meeting will also shed light on how much further policymakers expect rates to go.Economists surveyed by Bloomberg see that median estimate peaking at 4.9% after Powell said they will need to lift rates higher than previously anticipated. That implies the FOMC stepping down to 25 basis-point moves in February and March and then putting policy on pause. Investors see things the same way, according to current pricing in interest-rate futures markets. The decision, as well as the forecasts, will be announced at 2 p.m. in Washington. The CEO and co-founder of ARK Invest was buying stocks on Thursday during the market deluge. She's had a rough run since a highly rewarding 2020 for her family of exchange-traded funds (Pacer Swan SOS Fund of Funds ETF|ETFs). You have to respect someone that's still looking to buy falling growth stocks when the market is at its worst.

What was she buying this time? Wood added to her existing stakes in Shopify, Roku, and Sea Limited on Thursday. Let's see what she may be seeing in these former market darlings that have fallen on hard times.

Shopify

Announcing a stock split doesn't guarantee that a stock will pop. Shares of Shopify plummeted 37% last month, despite announcing plans for a 10-for-1 split. Like many high-profile growth stocks, shares of the popular e-commerce platform provider have had a rough run in the market.

April was bad, and May isn't shaping up to be any better. The stock plummeted 15% on Thursday after a disappointing financial report. Revenue decelerated through the first three months of this year, clocking in with a mere 22% year-over-year advance. Rising costs obliterated the bottom line; earnings came in 71% below what analysts were targeting.

The tailwinds that helped Shopify deliver jaw-dropping growth until recently weren't going to last forever. However, this week's surprising shortfall on both ends of the income statement is both problematic and opportunistic. The financial update wasn't encouraging, but the stock now finds itself 77% below where it was at its November peak. The forward-thinking e-commerce solution that lets merchants of all sizes easily sell their wares across emerging social media platforms and their own digital storefront hasn't lost its relevancy. Shopify should recover from this setback.

Roku

Another company that has shed nearly 80% of its peak value but is still growing is Roku. The pioneer of video streaming on TV is a leading in an expanding niche. There were 61.3 million homes leaning on Roku by the end of March, and these are active accounts in every sense of the term. The average account is streaming nearly 3.8 hours a day on the platform.

We've seen Roku's audience and total hours streamed grow 14% over the past year, silencing bearish arguments that folks will turn off their TVs and enjoy the great outdoors as the COVID-19 landscape improves following the vaccinations introduced last year. Advertisers also know that Roku consumers are worth reaching. Average revenue per user is up 34% over the past year.

Supply chain issues have slowed the production of its dongles, but Roku has enough deals in place with smart TV manufacturers to be the factory installed operating system of choice for many leading brands. After breaking through with a profit last year, analysts don't see a return to positive net income until 2024. It's not an ideal situation, but as long as Roku's audience keeps growing -- and those cradling the Roku remote controls keep watching -- the stock should eventually get back on track.

Sea Limited

Some companies are lucky to dominate one niche, but Sea Limited is a giant in three important industries. The Singapore-based speedster is a major player in e-commerce, online gaming, and fintech.

It's not firing on all cylinders right now. It sees direct entertainment bookings -- basically its gaming arm -- declining sharply this year. It's been a challenging year for the online gaming market, particularly in Asia. However, its now larger e-commerce segment is expected to see its revenue soar 76%. Its smaller fintech division is expected to see its top line climb 155% this year.

Growth will slow at Sea Limited this year from the 106% year-over-year burst it posted the last time it reported quarterly results. Sea Limited will have a financial update in two weeks. Analysts see revenue growth slowing to a 37% clip this year and a 35% pace in 2023, but that's still respectable for a company of Sea Limited's size.

Shopify, Roku, and Sea Limited have all seen their shares fall by at least 77% since peaking last year. Yet they continue to be strong growth stocks, delivering healthy year-over-year growth right now. Cathie Wood may be on to something here.

","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Cathie Wood Goes Bargain Hunting: 3 Stocks She Just Bought
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nCathie Wood Goes Bargain Hunting: 3 Stocks She Just Bought\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2022-05-07 11:29 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
Cathie Wood isn't afraid to go fishing in the rain. Cohen also owns 9.8% of Bed Bath & Beyond (NASDAQ:BBBY).

Cohen recently gained three seats on Bed Bath & Beyond’s board. As a result, he is now fighting a war on two fronts. History tells us that most times, when an aggressor tries to fight two opponents at the same time rather than one, the outcome is generally unfavorable.

BBBY reported a fourth-quarter loss of 92 cents versus the analyst estimate of a four-cent profit. BBBY stock is down more than 9% on the news.

If Cohen is smart, he’ll stop the war on two fronts and focus on GameStop. If you’re an investor, I would caution against buying either stock. If Cohen’s not careful, he’ll hold the bag for both GameStop and Bed Bath & Beyond.

Here’s why.

Ryan Cohen Is No Warren Buffett

The idea for my commentary today is not original. Yahoo Finance editor-at-large Brian Sozzi recently reported some of the comments of Loop Capital Markets analyst Anthony Chukumba regarding Ryan Cohen’s large investments in both companies.

Here’s what Chukumba had to say about GameStop:

“He bought a big stake in GameStop. He became the chairman. He brought in all these executives and board members. The stock went up a ton. But have the fundamentals of the business gotten any better? Any better at all? The answer is no. And by the way, the stock peaked at $483. It’s now down to about $150,” Sozzi reported on April 12.

In February, I pointed out that savior Cohen sold Chewy (NYSE:CHWY) long before it proved it could consistently make money. I also said that his claim Chewy would have been successful no matter what products it sold fails to recognize that the pet care industry is one of the most stable in North America. So he hardly picked a tough one.

GME stock has rebounded nicely in recent weeks — it’s up 64% over the past month — as the meme stock investors piled back into Cohen’s original turnaround target.

In March, GameStop reported decent Q4 2021 sales — up 6.2% over Q4 2020 to $2.25 billion — with an adjusted loss of $1.86 a share, well off the analyst estimate of an 85-cent profit.

The company had nothing but good things to say about its strategy to transform GameStop’s business. If nothing else, Cohen is a good promoter.

GME Stock + BBBY = Potential Bloodbath

As I said in the intro, Bed Bath & Beyond reported a 92-cent loss in the fourth quarter, 96 cents worse than the consensus estimate. BBBY stock jumped 34% on March 7 after Cohen revealed his stake in the retailer. Its share price is now down 18% from its March 7 close.

So, Cohen now has two money-losing businesses to turn around. It’s tough enough to achieve success once. But he wants to do it twice. At this point, the smart investor would realize the probabilities of Cohen being successful on both are slim.

Chukumba is equally unimpressed by Cohen’s BBBY play:

“It’s the same thing with Bed Bath & Beyond. He bought a stake in Bed Bath & Beyond, but he said you can easily take this thing private. No you can’t. He also said the market cap of buybuy BABY is more than the entire market cap of the company. Wrong once again,” Sozzi reported. “Let’s rid ourselves of the notion he is the next Warren Buffett, the emperor has no clothes.”

He’s 100% on the mark.

The man has done little to alter either business, yet he’s ready to fight a war on two fronts. Unfortunately, this scenario has only one end — a bad one from where I sit.

Chewy’s Not Looking So Hot

Before ignoring my warning about betting on Cohen, remember that Chewy’s most recent quarterly report was a stinker. The company lost 15 cents a share in Q4 2021, seven cents worse than analyst expectations, while revenues were $2.39 billion, $30-million shy of the consensus.

For all of 2021, Chewy finished with a net loss of $73.8 million. It did make money on a non-GAAP adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) basis, but $6.6 million less than a year ago and with an adjusted EBITDA margin of less than 1%.

The smart thing Ryan Cohen’s done up to this point in his business career was to sell Chewy when the getting was good. That makes me think of Mark Cuban and the sale of Broadcast.com for $5.7 billion at the height of the dot-com bubble in 1999. Only Cuban took those winnings and built an empire, including the Dallas Mavericks.

Cohen’s proven he’s no Warren Buffett or Mark Cuban. For this reason, I wouldn’t buy either.

","source":"lsy1606302653667","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
The Smart Investor Will Avoid GameStop and Bed Bath & Beyond
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nThe Smart Investor Will Avoid GameStop and Bed Bath & Beyond\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2022-04-16 07:55 GMT+8 investorplace\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
Bed Bath & Beyond (BBBY) just got three seats on its board.GameStop (GME) savior Ryan Cohen ought to pick one or the other. The smart move for investors is not to own either. Most investors following ...
\n\nWeb Link\n\n
\n\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n","type":0,"thumbnail":"","relate_stocks":{"GME":"游戏驿站","BBBY":"3B家居"},"source_url":"https://investorplace.com/2022/04/the-smart-investor-will-avoid-gamestop-gme-stock-and-bed-bath-beyond/","is_english":true,"share_image_url":"https://static.laohu8.com/e9f99090a1c2ed51c021029395664489","article_id":"1175785386","content_text":"Bed Bath & Beyond (BBBY) just got three seats on its board.GameStop (GME) savior Ryan Cohen ought to pick one or the other. The smart move for investors is not to own either. Most investors following GameStop (NYSE:GME) know that Ryan Cohen, the so-called savior of the video game retailer, owns 11.9% of GME stock through RC Ventures, his holding company. So he hardly picked a tough one.GME stock has rebounded nicely in recent weeks — it’s up 64% over the past month — as the meme stock investors piled back into Cohen’s original turnaround target. If nothing else, Cohen is a good promoter.GME Stock + BBBY = Potential BloodbathAs I said in the intro, Bed Bath & Beyond reported a 92-cent loss in the fourth quarter, 96 cents worse than the consensus estimate. BBBY stock jumped 34% on March 7 after Cohen revealed his stake in the retailer. Its share price is now down 18% from its March 7 close. So, Cohen now has two money-losing businesses to turn around. It’s tough enough to achieve success once. But he wants to do it twice. At this point, the smart investor would realize the probabilities of Cohen being successful on both are slim.Chukumba is equally unimpressed by Cohen’s BBBY play:“It’s the same thing with Bed Bath & Beyond. He bought a stake in Bed Bath & Beyond, but he said you can easily take this thing private. No you can’t. He also said the market cap of buybuy BABY is more than the entire market cap of the company. Wrong once again,” Sozzi reported. “Let’s rid ourselves of the notion he is the next Warren Buffett, the emperor has no clothes.”He’s 100% on the mark. The man has done little to alter either business, yet he’s ready to fight a war on two fronts. Unfortunately, this scenario has only one end — a bad one from where I sit.Chewy’s Not Looking So HotBefore ignoring my warning about betting on Cohen, remember that Chewy’s most recent quarterly report was a stinker. The company lost 15 cents a share in Q4 2021, seven cents worse than analyst expectations, while revenues were $2.39 billion, $30-million shy of the consensus. For all of 2021, Chewy finished with a net loss of $73.8 million. It did make money on a non-GAAP adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) basis, but $6.6 million less than a year ago and with an adjusted EBITDA margin of less than 1%.The smart thing Ryan Cohen’s done up to this point in his business career was to sell Chewy when the getting was good. That makes me think of Mark Cuban and the sale of Broadcast.com for $5.7 billion at the height of the dot-com bubble in 1999. Only Cuban took those winnings and built an empire, including the Dallas Mavericks.Cohen’s proven he’s no Warren Buffett or Mark Cuban. For this reason, I wouldn’t buy either.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":278,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9093335761,"gmtCreate":1643514504481,"gmtModify":1676533827632,"author":{"id":"3576484544353713","authorId":"3576484544353713","name":"Milkgonebad","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/13596b6d0ccd5ec5f1323ca987d7ae85","crmLevel":5,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576484544353713","authorIdStr":"3576484544353713"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ok","listText":"Ok","text":"Ok","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":3,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9093335761","repostId":"2207809007","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2207809007","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1643511679,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2207809007?lang=&edition=full_marsco","pubTime":"2022-01-30 11:01","market":"us","language":"en","title":"2 Breakout Growth Stocks You Can Buy and Hold for the Next Decade","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2207809007","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"These stocks have been hammered in 2022, but they have bright futures.","content":"

The stock market got off to a rough start in 2022, with the S&P 500 dropping over 8% so far in January, but this is an opportunity for investors to add some solid companies to their portfolios that could turn out to be long-term winners.

After all, buying and holding great companies for the long run is a tried and tested way of watching your money grow. Let's look at the reasons why shares of Unity and Twilio could breakout and deliver solid returns over the next 10 years.

1. Unity Software

The new year has been brutal on tech stocks with rich valuations thanks to the Federal Reserve's hawkish stance, which could result in four interest rate hikes this year. This explains the crash in shares of Unity Software this month. But the good part is that it is now trading at 29 times sales, compared to the 2021 sales multiple of 40.

The dip in Unity stock is a great opportunity for investors to buy a company that's building the future. Unity provides a platform that allows users to create and operate interactive, real-time 3D content. The company points out that its platform is used by artists, architects, automotive designers, filmmakers, game creators, and others to create real-time 2D and 3D content that can be consumed on smartphones, tablets, computers, and AR/VR (augmented reality/virtual reality) devices.

Unity's platform can also be deployed in aerospace, retail, education, and advertising. These wide-ranging applications explain why Unity sees its addressable opportunity growing at a rapid pace. The company estimates that the real-time 3D content space has grown from just $15 billion at the beginning of the century to $159 billion in 2020.

Unity points out that video gaming has been the key driver of this massive growth, but with concepts such as the metaverse coming into play, it wouldn't be surprising to see Unity's platform used in more industries. The metaverse looks like the ideal use case for Unity's platform, as this technology aims to transport users into a three-dimensional virtual world where they can socialize, play, work, and study, among other things, all in real-time.

Given that the metaverse is expected to clock a compound annual growth rate of 41.7% through 2030 as per a third-party estimate, Unity's addressable market could explode. So Unity Software seems on track to sustain its outstanding pace of growth for a long time to come. The company will release its 2021 results on Feb. 3, and it is expected to exit the year with $1.08 billion in revenue, a 40% increase over the prior year.

It is worth noting that Unity's revenue increased 43% and 42% in 2020 and 2019, respectively. Analysts expect the company's earnings to grow at an annual pace of 69% for the next five years. However, it wouldn't be surprising to see Unity Software sustain such a terrific pace for the next decade given the opportunities it is sitting on.

2. Twilio

Twilio is another fast-growing company that investors can buy at relatively cheap levels right now thanks to the sell-off. The stock is trading at 12.3 times sales, which is lower than the five-year average price-to-sales ratio of 16.7 and 2021's sales multiple of 17.5.

Twilio operates in the fast-growing cloud communications market, enabling organizations to engage with their customers through several channels such as text, voice, video, and email, among others. The company's APIs (application programming interface) help Twilio customers move their physical contact centers into the cloud. This was one key reason why the company recorded outstanding growth during the pandemic.

According to third-party estimates, it controlled 38% of the communications platform-as-a-service (CPaaS) market in the second quarter of 2021, occupying pole position. Second-placed Vonage was far behind Twilio with a share of 11.8%, indicating that the latter is dominating this lucrative space.

The robust market share bodes well for Twilio's future, as the global CPaaS market is expected to clock annual growth of 24% for the next decade and hit $46 billion in revenue by 2031, according to Future Market Insights. More importantly, Twilio is making the most of the end-market opportunity.

The company's revenue for the first nine months of 2021 increased 65% over the prior-year period to $2 billion. Twilio will release its fourth quarter and full-year 2021 results on Feb. 9, and the company expects to post $765 million in revenue at the midpoint of the guidance range. That would translate into 39% year-over-year gains. Twilio's Q4 guidance means that it could finish 2021 with $2.77 billion in revenue, an increase of 57% over 2020.

So Twilio is growing at a faster pace than the CPaaS market. This is not surprising, as the company has been going all out to secure a big chunk of this fast-growing market by way of acquisitions to strengthen its offerings. This explains why Twilio has been able to drive incremental spending from its customer base, with its dollar-based net expansion rate remaining above 130% since the beginning of 2020.

Twilio points out that the dollar-based net expansion rate increases when its active customers increase their usage of the company's products or adopt new products. Thanks to the acquisitions it has made over the years, Twilio's cross-selling opportunities have increased as it can offer more products to its customer base. It is also worth noting that Twilio's organic growth is robust, with the company recording 38% year-over-year revenue growth in the third quarter of 2021.

In all, Twilio is in a strong position to win big from the fast-growing CPaaS market in the coming decade, making it an ideal bet for investors looking for a breakout growth stock that has become attractive amid the sell-off.

","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
2 Breakout Growth Stocks You Can Buy and Hold for the Next Decade
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n2 Breakout Growth Stocks You Can Buy and Hold for the Next Decade\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2022-01-30 11:01 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
The stock market got off to a rough start in 2022, with the S&P 500 dropping over 8% so far in January, but this is an opportunity for investors to add some solid companies to their portfolios that ...
\n\nWeb Link\n\n
\n\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n","type":0,"thumbnail":"","relate_stocks":{"BK4554":"元宇宙及AR概念","U":"Unity Software Inc.","TWLO":"Twilio Inc","BK4548":"巴美列捷福持仓","BK4551":"寇图资本持仓","BK4116":"互联网服务与基础架构","BK4528":"SaaS概念","BK4023":"应用软件"},"source_url":"https://www.fool.com/investing/2022/01/29/2-breakout-growth-stocks-you-can-buy-and-hold-for/","is_english":true,"share_image_url":"https://static.laohu8.com/e9f99090a1c2ed51c021029395664489","article_id":"2207809007","content_text":"The stock market got off to a rough start in 2022, with the S&P 500 dropping over 8% so far in January, but this is an opportunity for investors to add some solid companies to their portfolios that could turn out to be long-term winners. After all, buying and holding great companies for the long run is a tried and tested way of watching your money grow. I personally don’t have much use for the platform, but I can see the appeal … somewhat. After all, we could all use a daily dose of inspiration for shopping, relaxing, business and marketing purposes. Still, I’m not the only one who doesn’t quite “get it.”
\n
But if you’re someone who is interested in investing in PINS stock, here’s a deeper look at what you need to know about the company — and stock — moving forward.
\n
PINS Stock: A Very Strong Balance Sheet
\n
A close look at the balance sheet for Pinterest shows that it has strong financial strength. In fact, according toGuruFocusthe current cash-to-debt, debt-to-equity ratios are 17.62 and 0.05, respectively.
\n
A strong balance sheet is a positive factor when considering whether a stock is investment-worthy. However, it is not the only thing to consider. When looking at the balance sheet, the phrase “cash is king” should ring in your ears. After all, plenty of cash is necessary to run a successful business. Thankfully for PINS, the company has performed well in this regard.
\n
In 2019, it reported cash and short-term investments of $1.72 billion. That was an increase of 173.34% compared to 2018. In 2020, Pinterest experienced another moderate increase of 2.61% with a figure of $1.76 billion reported.
\n
In general, the cash and cash equivalents growth for the period 2017-2020 is too high.
\n
Revenue Growth: Consistent and Strong
\n
Revenue is the start of everything in business, bringing cash and using cash, to make a profit. Pinterest excels in its revenue growth for 2017-2020. According toMarketWatch, in 2017, it reported revenue of $472.85 million. Then in 2018, 2019 and 2020, its revenue grew 59.87%, 51.17% and 48.12%, respectively. Pinterest reported 2020 revenue of $1.69 billion. This is a strong revenue trend that I admire.
\n
But, while a strong balance sheet and strong revenue growth are the two factors to like about Pinterest, it isn’t without its blemishes. Here are the three main things that make PINS stock less appealing.
\n
Lackluster User Growth
\n
Pinterest benefited greatly from the coronavirus pandemic in 2020. The stock reached a 52-week high of $89.90 on strong momentum that started in late 2020. But the stock has since tumbled about 40% to its current price near $55.
\n
The main issue? Repeated misses on its user growth targets. The news on lower-than-expected monthly users led to a downgrade by JPMorgan on Pinterest stock.
\n
If lackluster or, worse, declining user growth continues in the next quarters this could put a significant dent in the long-term case for PINS stock. After all, it would lead to a decline in advertising revenue for Pinterest. Not so good.
\n
Pinterest’s management must find a solution to this decline in users as more people start to enter the “new normal.” Otherwise, its success in 2020 will be short lived.
\n
Profitability: Not Present Yet
\n
Another risk factor to consider with Pinterest is that despite its strong revenue growth, the company is still losing money. We can see this trend in its net losses of $130.04 million, $62.97 million, $1.36 billion and $128.32 million for 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020, respectively.
\n
This ultimately points to an inefficient business model, as the company is struggling to deliver profits.
\n
Valuation: Too Pricey
\n
The final issue with PINS stock that I’d like to bring to your attention is it’s overprice valuation. I personally don’t have much use for the platform, but I can see the appeal … somewhat. After all, we could all use a daily dose of inspiration for shopping, relaxing, business and marketing purposes. Still, I’m not the only one who doesn’t quite “get it.”\nBut if you’re someone who is interested in investing in PINS stock, here’s a deeper look at what you need to know about the company — and stock — moving forward.\nPINS Stock: A Very Strong Balance Sheet\nA close look at the balance sheet for Pinterest shows that it has strong financial strength. In fact, according toGuruFocusthe current cash-to-debt, debt-to-equity ratios are 17.62 and 0.05, respectively.\nA strong balance sheet is a positive factor when considering whether a stock is investment-worthy. However, it is not the only thing to consider. When looking at the balance sheet, the phrase “cash is king” should ring in your ears. After all, plenty of cash is necessary to run a successful business. Thankfully for PINS, the company has performed well in this regard.\nIn 2019, it reported cash and short-term investments of $1.72 billion. That was an increase of 173.34% compared to 2018. In 2020, Pinterest experienced another moderate increase of 2.61% with a figure of $1.76 billion reported.\nIn general, the cash and cash equivalents growth for the period 2017-2020 is too high.\nRevenue Growth: Consistent and Strong\nRevenue is the start of everything in business, bringing cash and using cash, to make a profit. This is a strong revenue trend that I admire.\nBut, while a strong balance sheet and strong revenue growth are the two factors to like about Pinterest, it isn’t without its blemishes. Here are the three main things that make PINS stock less appealing.\nLackluster User Growth\nPinterest benefited greatly from the coronavirus pandemic in 2020. The stock reached a 52-week high of $89.90 on strong momentum that started in late 2020. But the stock has since tumbled about 40% to its current price near $55.\nThe main issue? Repeated misses on its user growth targets. The news on lower-than-expected monthly users led to a downgrade by JPMorgan on Pinterest stock.\nIf lackluster or, worse, declining user growth continues in the next quarters this could put a significant dent in the long-term case for PINS stock. After all, it would lead to a decline in advertising revenue for Pinterest. Not so good.\nPinterest’s management must find a solution to this decline in users as more people start to enter the “new normal.” Otherwise, its success in 2020 will be short lived.\nProfitability: Not Present Yet\nAnother risk factor to consider with Pinterest is that despite its strong revenue growth, the company is still losing money. We can see this trend in its net losses of $130.04 million, $62.97 million, $1.36 billion and $128.32 million for 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020, respectively.\nThis ultimately points to an inefficient business model, as the company is struggling to deliver profits.\nValuation: Too Pricey\nThe final issue with PINS stock that I’d like to bring to your attention is it’s overprice valuation. If we useMSN Moneytocompare key financial metrics, such as price-to-sales ratio, price-to-book value and price-to-cash flow ratio, to same ratios of the Software & IT Services space more broadly, we find that Pinterest is relatively overvalued.\nSpecifically, PINS stock has a price-to-sales ratio of 21.23x, a price-to-book value ratio of 15.57x and a price-to-cash flow ratio of 3,145x. Meanwhile, the industry’s equivalent ratios are as follows: 7.35x, 7.76x and 29.68x, respectively.\nUltimately, PINS stock has some severe fundamental issues to solve before it’s truly buy-worthy in my book. Until revenue generates profit and its valuation is attractive, I suggest avoiding the stock.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":231,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":340755059,"gmtCreate":1617497974171,"gmtModify":1704699981099,"author":{"id":"3576484544353713","authorId":"3576484544353713","name":"Milkgonebad","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/13596b6d0ccd5ec5f1323ca987d7ae85","crmLevel":5,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576484544353713","authorIdStr":"3576484544353713"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"All in tesla","listText":"All in tesla","text":"All in tesla","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":3,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/340755059","repostId":"2124875875","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":116,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[{"author":{"id":"3575408338074495","authorId":"3575408338074495","name":"我发大财了","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/850ce10f8979981b703d0999ccb63c31","crmLevel":7,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"idStr":"3575408338074495","authorIdStr":"3575408338074495"},"content":"Respond to my comment please","text":"Respond to my comment please","html":"Respond to my comment please"}],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9989593641,"gmtCreate":1666046241783,"gmtModify":1676537695163,"author":{"id":"3576484544353713","authorId":"3576484544353713","name":"Milkgonebad","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/13596b6d0ccd5ec5f1323ca987d7ae85","crmLevel":5,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576484544353713","authorIdStr":"3576484544353713"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"K","listText":"K","text":"K","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":9,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9989593641","repostId":"1102401846","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1102401846","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1666017564,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1102401846?lang=&edition=full_marsco","pubTime":"2022-10-17 22:39","market":"us","language":"en","title":"British U-Turn Shows Central Banks Still Rule (and That’s Not Always Good)","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1102401846","media":"the wall street journal","summary":"On Monday, U.K. Treasury chief, Jeremy Hunt, rolled back about £32 billion of the £45 billion in tax","content":"

On Monday, U.K. Treasury chief, Jeremy Hunt, rolled back about £32 billion of the £45 billion in tax cuts promised by his predecessor.

In its game of chicken with the U.K. government, the Bank of England has emerged victorious.
