"We do believe the first quarter is the bottom for our PC market," Ms. Su said on an earnings call after the chip company reported fourth-quarter results. PC shipments have slumped sharply after a surge early in the pandemic. PC shipments fell 28.5% in the final quarter of last year, research firm Gartner said, the worst retreat since it began tracking the market in the 1990s.
