It has been more than a year since I discovered Tiger brokers and the app. Honestly I was rather sceptical initially. Let me explain. I have been using traditional brokers offered by financial institutions such as banks and conventional brokers. One word to sum them up. Very expensive and not very conducive for everyday investors and long term investing. Around 25 dollars minmum per trade? So if you want to DCA and you invest only a few hundreds, you have to pay such a high percentage whicheats into your investments from day one? Yet the big boys get preferential rates etc just because they are trading in the millions? No one really cared for the everyday investors who justwant
