It's not even on the defensive, nor does it only work if you find the market's up-and-comers at the right time. You can still reap huge profits using blue-chip stocks well after they've become blue chips. Here's a closer look at three familiar names that dished out triple-digit percentage gains on their stocks just within the past few years, and could do the same again over the course of the next few years.1. AlphabetAlphabet (NASDAQ:GOOG) (NASDAQ:GOOGL) is of course the company behind search engine behemoth Google, which according to GlobalStats' statcounter handles more than 90% of the world's web searches -- a market share the company has enjoyed for a long, long time. The Google brand also accounts for around two-thirds of Alphabet's top line, and (for the time being, anyway) all of the company's actual profits. And what profit growth we've seen. Last year's net income of $76 billion is leaps and bounds better than the $9.7 billion bottom line the company produced 10 years ago, back in 2011. The stock's price has rallied nearly 800% during that timeframe, from $305 per share then to $2,720 now. That's a tough act to follow, leading some investors to think Alphabet's highest-growth days are behind it. And, perhaps they are. The world certainly seems to already be using the world wide web as much as it feasibly can. What's left to drive future growth? As it turns out though, there's still plenty of opportunities for Alphabet to continue its expansion. The company's Android is also the world's most popular mobile operating system, with GlobalStats data indicating it's installed on 70% of the world's actively used mobile devices. This market isn't saturated yet, meaning there's plenty more growth potential in the cards for the advertisement and app-selling platform. In the meantime, Alphabet continues to refine its YouTube property, which boasts 2 billion users per month consuming over 1 billion hours' worth of video content every single day. Alphabet is also showing strong growth in the ever-expanding area of cloud services with its Google Cloud offering.2. WalmartIt's not known or viewed by investors as a high-octane investment, but Walmart (NYSE:WMT) stock has been surprisingly rewarding in recent years despite the fact that Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) has encroached on its turf. Shares of the world's biggest brick-and-mortar retailer are up more than 90% for the past five years, and higher by 125% for the past 10. That reflects annualized revenue growth from $440 billion then to more than $570 billion now.Profits haven't grown nearly as much, but for good reason -- the company continues to invest in it is future, and in e-commerce in particular. Walmart's also earmarked $14 billion specifically for automation and supply chain improvements, which are ultimately meant to support its growing online marketplace. There's more going on here, however, than the establishment of an e-commerce presence that can at least compete with Amazon.com. Its online shopping efforts are just part of a bigger-picture effort to become more of a lifestyle company akin to Amazon. Primary healthcare, premium private label wine, subscription-based delivery of online orders, and tech-installation services are all part of the bigger plan to make Walmart the go-to name consumers lean on.In that, the plan is working (albeit it at a snail's pace), don't be surprised to see shares double again over the course of the next 10 years.3. AmazonWhile nearly everything Walmart does these days is first and foremost meant to combat Amazon.com, that hasn't prevented the e-commerce giant from growing like crazy. Amazon's revenue has improved from 2011's $48 billion to last year's $470 billion. The stock's up more than 1,700% for that timeframe, however, buoyed by earnings growth that has dramatically outpaced sales growth thanks to the launch of the company's cloud computing arm, Amazon Web Services. As it turns out, cloud computing is a considerably more profitable venture than selling merchandise online is.It's unlikely Amazon stock will be able to repeat the feat by 2032. A great deal of the rally stems from the fact that not many people saw the growth coming, and therefore underestimated the stock back in 2012. Investors won't make the same mistake again.Still, even producing half of the gain it produced over the course of the past 10 years during the next 10 years would be a huge win for shareholders. And there's little reason to dismiss the possibility. Amazon is constantly evolving in ways that set the stage for more growth. For instance, the company confirmed it generated $31 billion worth of advertising revenue last year, and that's despite the service being relatively young, unrefined, and not fully understood by advertisers. Other more nuanced growth drivers include payment services, point-of-sale solutions, and even a grocery store business that cements its relationships with consumers in place. There's certainly no reason not to expect more big things from the company, and its stock.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"WMT":0.9,"AMZN":0.9,"GOOG":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1272,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9917388616,"gmtCreate":1665443316235,"gmtModify":1676537605285,"author":{"id":"4098931435636140","authorId":"4098931435636140","name":"Leeyongtatt","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/106b9b3f9de3174e8eec37b67aeb8860","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4098931435636140","idStr":"4098931435636140"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$Wow ","listText":"$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$Wow ","text":"$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$Wow","images":[{"img":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/27f626945eb056ec03a8710aebc3fbfa","width":"750","height":"1305"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":30,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9917388616","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":3328,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9963570934,"gmtCreate":1668730952528,"gmtModify":1676538103078,"author":{"id":"4098931435636140","authorId":"4098931435636140","name":"Leeyongtatt","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/106b9b3f9de3174e8eec37b67aeb8860","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4098931435636140","idStr":"4098931435636140"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Rivian Automotive, Inc.(RIVN)$ wow ","listText":"$Rivian Automotive, Inc.(RIVN)$ wow ","text":"$Rivian Automotive, Inc.(RIVN)$ wow","images":[{"img":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/32f583c6edc70abd5d819fb6ea6965e9","width":"828","height":"1632"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":23,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9963570934","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2190,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9013993721,"gmtCreate":1648675849500,"gmtModify":1676534374181,"author":{"id":"4098931435636140","authorId":"4098931435636140","name":"Leeyongtatt","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/106b9b3f9de3174e8eec37b67aeb8860","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4098931435636140","idStr":"4098931435636140"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Wow","listText":"Wow","text":"Wow","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9013993721","repostId":"1119843668","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1119843668","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1648646522,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1119843668?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-03-30 21:22","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Apple Stock: One Good Day Away From $3 Trillion","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1119843668","media":"TheStreet","summary":"After struggling through nearly all of 2022, Apple stock is suddenly within striking distance of the","content":"

After struggling through nearly all of 2022, Apple stock is suddenly within striking distance of the $3 trillion market cap. Following the 2020 market plunge at the start of the pandemic, the S&P 500 took all of six months to make up the dramatic drop it suffered and then went on to continuously set new record highs. It looked like 2022 was off to a bad start, too, as the broad market index raced toward official correction territory (a loss of 10%), only to stop just short of the threshold before making a U-turn and working its way back up.We will eventually get that correction, and maybe even a bear market (a loss of 20% or more), but it shows the importance of holding on through thick and thin and letting your stocks play out over the long term. That's why the nugget of investing wisdom that says it's not about timing the market, but your time in the market, is so true. It means there's never a bad time to invest, and always having money available, even small amounts, is a good strategy for everyone.By the time working Americans are ready to retire, the following pair of hot growth stocks have the potential to make those who invested in them, wealthy.1. NvidiaShares of graphics chipmaker Nvidia are suffering now due to the general sector rotation out of technology stocks and the high-flyers that trounced the S&P 500 last year. Nvidia's stock surged 125% in 2021 but is down 16% so far this year.No matter, investors should view this pullback as a buying opportunity even though the stock looks expensive by traditional metrics. Despite trading at 76 times trailing earnings, 47 times next year's estimates, and 87 times the free cash flow it produces -- even after its haircut -- the premium Nvidia commands is warranted because its business remains white-hot.While gaming is still the chipmaker's primary moneymaker, responsible for 45% of total Q3 sales, Nvidia expects its data center business to overtake that segment by 2025. It already generates billions of dollars in revenue every year, with data center sales soaring 55% in the third quarter (period ended Oct. 31) to hit $2.9 billion. And following its $7 billion acquisition of Mellanox in 2020, Nvidia is now positioned as a leading supplier for networking hardware. Those two segments alone would be enough to justify Nvidia's lofty valuation, but it has other equally exciting opportunities, even if they don't yet approach the level of gaming and data centers.Nvidia's professional visualization segment, for example, got a big boost from the pandemic, which created outsize demand for high-end mobile workstations that offer real-time rendering capabilities. It utilizes artificial intelligence and virtual reality to help simulate real-life designs. Revenue surged 144% year over year as growth in desktop and notebook workstation GPUs rose due to enterprises deploying new systems to allow for hybrid work situations. It cuts across all industries, too, including automotive, media and entertainment, architectural engineering, oil and gas, and medical imaging.Wall Street forecasts revenue will triple to over $56 billion by the middle of the decade, helping to give Nvidia a multitrillion-dollar valuation. The chipmaker is the closest thing an investor can find to a set-and-forget stock for their retirement portfolio.2. AffirmBuying on installment is an old idea that's new again, and Affirm is one of the leading names in the buy now, pay later (BNPL) space. Partnerships with the likes of Amazon and Shopify (NYSE:SHOP) open up vast new terrain for the lending outfit that's already starting to pay off.Fiscal first-quarter earnings for the September period saw the number of active customers more than double to 8.7 million from the year-ago quarter and rise 22% sequentially. Amazon brings some 200 million potential customers to the table, while Shopify adds an additional 118 million. Not everyone will take advantage of the BNPL opportunity, but it gives Affirm a much broader audience to tap. Shopify has been a partner since July 2020, and active merchants participating in Affirm's Shop Pay Installments program grew from 6,500 to 102,000 in just one year, representing a 15-fold increase. The Amazon deal is new, but it could be a game-changer for Affirm.Of course, there are risks involved. Privately held Klarna is the biggest player in the space, with some 250,000 merchants on board and an estimated $78 billion in global sales volume. PayPal has its own BNPL service that it launched in 2020, and Block just acquired Afterpay, giving the BNPL company its own massive opportunity to expand its universe of customers.Affirm also still carries a premium price tag like Nvidia, even though its stock got cut down by a third in the first month of the new year and has lost 64% of its value from its November highs. It's still producing operating losses while trading at 19 times its sales.Analysts are forecasting Affirm will see revenue grow 10 times its fiscal 2021 level to hit $3.5 billion by 2025, which would represent a 74% compound annual growth rate. New regulatory measures on BNPL here and abroad could impact growth, but it's a wide-open area for Affirm, and investors should feel comfortable buying this fintech stock for the long haul.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"NVDA":1,"AFRM":1}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":482,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9034360979,"gmtCreate":1647814865276,"gmtModify":1676534266798,"author":{"id":"4098931435636140","authorId":"4098931435636140","name":"Leeyongtatt","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/106b9b3f9de3174e8eec37b67aeb8860","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4098931435636140","idStr":"4098931435636140"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Wow","listText":"Wow","text":"Wow","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9034360979","repostId":"1151643208","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":554,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9094963578,"gmtCreate":1645052884200,"gmtModify":1676533990455,"author":{"id":"4098931435636140","authorId":"4098931435636140","name":"Leeyongtatt","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/106b9b3f9de3174e8eec37b67aeb8860","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4098931435636140","idStr":"4098931435636140"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Wow","listText":"Wow","text":"Wow","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9094963578","repostId":"2211058650","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2211058650","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1645025220,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2211058650?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-02-16 23:27","market":"us","language":"en","title":"3 Metaverse Stocks With 195% to 383% Upside, According to Wall Street","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2211058650","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"Select analysts and investment banks believe these metaverse plays could skyrocket over the next year.","content":"
\n
There's no shortage of sustained double-digit growth opportunities over the next decade. Cybersecurity, cloud computing, and telehealth are all examples of fast-growing trends that investors can't seem to get enough of.But if there's one opportunity that's set head and shoulders above the rest, it's the metaverse.Image source: Getty Images. In simple terms, the metaverse is the next iteration of the internet. It describes a 3D virtual environment that'll allow users to interact with their surroundings, including other users. Not only is there a gaming/entertainment aspect to the metaverse, but this collective of virtual worlds is expected to breed an entirely new ecosystem.Making the metaverse tick is a big job, and it's going to take a large number of companies and innovators. There'll need to be enough processing capacity, storage capacity, reduced latency for users within virtual worlds, digital identity verification/security, and payment platforms in place, just to name a few of the critical functions necessary for the metaverse to succeed.Yet, if all goes as planned, the metaverse could be the biggest investing opportunity since the birth of the internet. Matthew Ball, the CEO of venture capital company Epyllion, has estimated the metaverse market value at $10 trillion to $30 trillion within the next 10 to 15 years. Meanwhile, Morgan Stanley believes the metaverse can eventually be worth $8 billion just in China!Although the metaverse remains a work in progress, select Wall Street analysts and investment banks see three metaverse-associated stocks skyrocketing between 195% and 383% over the coming 12 months.Image source: Getty Images.Coinbase Global: Implied upside of 208%The first metaverse stock with exceptional upside potential over the next year is the leading cryptocurrency exchange and ecosystem Coinbase Global (NASDAQ:COIN). Analyst Lisa Ellis of MoffettNathanson currently has the highest price target on Coinbase at $600. If it were to trade for this figure, investors would more than triple their money, based on where shares closed this past weekend.Coinbase would be a pretty obvious beneficiary of the metaverse, given that protocol tokens from blockchain-based games have proved essential to early iterations of a decentralized metaverse. With Coinbase leading the way among crypto investments and transactions, it could become the de facto stop for digital currency purchases needed within virtual worlds or ecosystems. But Coinbase sees its future in the metaverse going well beyond its cryptocurrency exchange. In December, the company released a note implying that its role will be to create \"an identity on-ramp into the metaverse.\" Coinbase believes there'll be numerous metaverses linked together, and that having a secure identity tag, stored as a non-fungible token (NFT), will allow users easy access from one metaverse to the next. In addition to focusing on NFT identity tags, the company notes that it's working on technology that'll allow users to purchase their own avatar. However, investors should understand that Coinbase is far from a lock to succeed. Though it's been raking in the dough from increased crypto transactions over the past 13-plus months, competition among crypto exchanges is heating up. We've watched this same fee-based price war play out with traditional brokerages, and it ended with trading commissions eventually going to zero.Coinbase is also highly dependent on the success of Bitcoin and Ethereum, which make up the bulk of trading volume on its platform. Any weakness from the \"Big Two\" can quickly reduce sales and profits. With the metaverse many years away from being a big growth driver for Coinbase, it's more likely these concerns will limit this stock's upside.Image source: Getty Images.Matterport: Implied upside of 383%If you want something a bit more under the radar, borderline small-cap stock Matterport (NASDAQ:MTTR) has the potential to nearly quintuple, at least according to one analyst. Daniel Ives at Wedbush Securities has an aggressive $38 price target on shares of Matterport, which equates to upside of 383%, based on where it closed last week.Of the three stocks on this list, Matterport has the most direct ties to the metaverse. This is a company that takes physical objects in the real world and creates 3D digital twins of them in the virtual world. The applications for this technology are immediate. For instance, real estate companies are using this technology to allow prospective buyers to get a real feel for properties on the market. But as you can imagine, there's plenty of use for Matterport's spatial data technology in the metaverse. Imagine being able to take your home, or perhaps the home you've always dreamed about, and place it on your own plot of land in the virtual world. Though we're likely a ways away from that happening, investors are already buying into Matterport specifically for the intrigue surrounding its metaverse ties. For the time being, Matterport's growth is primarily derived from cloud-based subscriptions. While users do have the option of accessing their digital twins for free, a paid subscription is required so that others can access these virtual twins. As of the end of the third quarter, Matterport's annual recurring revenue (what it expects to generate annually from subscription revenue) was $62.7 million. The catch with Matterport is that it's going to require patience. Profitability isn't expected anytime soon, and the company is still valued at close to 13 times Wall Street's forecast sales for 2022.Image source: Getty Images.Sea Limited: Implied upside of 195%A final metaverse stock with plenty of upside, according to Wall Street, is Singapore-based Sea Limited (NYSE:SE). The high-water price target on Wall Street of $467 comes from analyst Nirgunan Tiruchelvam at Tellimer Research. Should Sea make waves and hit this lofty prognostication, shareholders would enjoy gains of 195%!Sea's ties to the metaverse are fairly fresh, with the company responsible for raising about $6.3 million for artificial intelligence-based gaming company Refract. Interestingly, the funding that Sea helped anchor allowed Refract to complete an acquisition of its own (game developer Deep Dive Studios). It should be noted that Sea already has a wildly successful gaming unit, known as Garena. The company's mobile game, Free Fire, is a global hit. During the September-ended quarter, 729 million people were actively gaming on its platform, with 12.8% of those users paying to play. It's worth pointing out that the industry's pay-to-play conversion ratio is often closer to just 2%.Beyond gaming, Sea Limited is building up its digital financial services segment, known as SeaMoney. When the third quarter closed, more than 39 million people were paying for digital wallet services. With access to basic banking services somewhat limited in many of the emerging markets Sea operates, the company looks to have a fast-growing business segment that could help to democratize access to financial services over time. But what may really define Sea for many years to come is Shopee, the company's rapidly growing e-commerce platform. Shopee has consistently been the most downloaded shopping app in Southeastern Asia, and it's gaining steam in Brazil. Shopee's gross merchandise value (GMV) annual run-rate surpassed $67 billion in the third quarter, which is up from $10 billion in GMV for the entirety of 2018.Of the three companies listed here, Sea appears the most likely to eventually make a run at Wall Street's loftiest price target.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"COIN":1,"MTTR":1,"SE":1}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1070,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9097937449,"gmtCreate":1645314193116,"gmtModify":1676534016944,"author":{"id":"4098931435636140","authorId":"4098931435636140","name":"Leeyongtatt","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/106b9b3f9de3174e8eec37b67aeb8860","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4098931435636140","idStr":"4098931435636140"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Wow","listText":"Wow","text":"Wow","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9097937449","repostId":"1169107504","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":854,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9015162846,"gmtCreate":1649455633080,"gmtModify":1676534513365,"author":{"id":"4098931435636140","authorId":"4098931435636140","name":"Leeyongtatt","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/106b9b3f9de3174e8eec37b67aeb8860","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4098931435636140","idStr":"4098931435636140"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"wow","listText":"wow","text":"wow","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9015162846","repostId":"2225529120","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":709,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9091428284,"gmtCreate":1643932635037,"gmtModify":1676533872443,"author":{"id":"4098931435636140","authorId":"4098931435636140","name":"Leeyongtatt","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/106b9b3f9de3174e8eec37b67aeb8860","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4098931435636140","idStr":"4098931435636140"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Wow ","listText":"Wow ","text":"Wow","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":7,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9091428284","repostId":"2208904373","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2208904373","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1643932424,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2208904373?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-02-04 07:53","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Unity Software Stock Rallies 14% as Earnings, Revenue Top Estimates","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2208904373","media":"DowjonesNews","summary":"Unity Software Inc. shares surged in the extended session Thursday after the gaming-engine company's","content":"

Unity Software Inc. shares surged in the extended session Thursday after the gaming-engine company's earnings and revenue topped Wall Street expectations.

Unity (U) shares rallied 14% after hours, following a 9.3% drop in the regular session to close at $92.54.

Unity, which competes with Epic Games Inc.'s Unreal Engine, reported a fourth-quarter loss of $162.1 million, or 56 cents a share, compared with a loss of $83.4 million, or 31 cents a share, in the year-ago period. Net sales rose 22% to $469.8 billion. Apple clocked in with just $365.8 billion on the top line for its fiscal 2021. Naturally, Amazon currently operates a lower-margin business. Apple deserves the better multiple. However, Amazon has been the more consistent grower. Apple's growth comes in spurts. It comes through with a fiscal year of double-digit growth in net sales, only to march in place the next two years. Really. Look up the pattern over the past decade. Tesla Motors is already the fifth-most-valuable stock by market cap, and there's no shortage of bears stumped by how every larger automaker by sales volume is trading for less. I'm not one of those bears, and not just because the legacy car builders often have debt-saddled balance sheets and problematic pension obligations.

Teslaisdifferent. Everyone is hopping on the electric vehicle trend now, but it will be hard to duplicate the proprietary Supercharger network. Guidance was a bit vague, leading investors to brace for slowing growth. However, Shopify's unique role is worth exploring. One can argue that Amazon also helps folks sell online through its giant marketplace, but Shopify provides professional stand-alone digital storefronts. Shopify also offers seamless integration into the growing number of channels to sell a product, unlike Amazon, which wants the business to go through its namesake destination.

The gig economy will continue to expand in the coming years, and Shopify will arm the creative and enterprising with instant online stores. Shopify's stock may be out of favor right now, but it has a long runway to keep thriving as a growth stock for a long time.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"TSLA":0.9,"SHOP":0.9,"AMZN":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":626,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9093511016,"gmtCreate":1643671627850,"gmtModify":1676533841290,"author":{"id":"4098931435636140","authorId":"4098931435636140","name":"Leeyongtatt","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/106b9b3f9de3174e8eec37b67aeb8860","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4098931435636140","idStr":"4098931435636140"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Wow","listText":"Wow","text":"Wow","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9093511016","repostId":"1173569070","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1173569070","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1643641805,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1173569070?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-01-31 23:10","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Boeing shares rose more than 2% in morning trading","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1173569070","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"Boeing shares rose more than 2% in morning trading.Boeing Co is set to sign a launch order from Q","content":"

Boeing shares rose more than 2% in morning trading.Boeing Co is set to sign a launch order from Qatar Airways for a new freighter version of its 777X passenger jet on Monday, in a Washington ceremony coinciding with a visit by the Gulf state's ruling emir, U.S. officials said.

Reuters reported last week that the U.S. planemaker was in advanced negotiations with the Gulf carrier for around 34 of the planned twin-engined freighters in a deal provisionally estimated to be worth $14 billion at list prices.

Qatar Airways has publicly said it is interested in buying up to 50 new-generation freighters, with the higher figure expected to include options that could lead to top-up purchases in the future.

It may also bridge to the new cargo version of the upgraded 777X with a handful of extra current-generation 777 freighters.

The deal, which could effectively kickstart development of the new freighter, is expected to be signed at a White House ceremony at 12:30 pm local (1630 GMT), the officials said.

","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; Over the last decade, the S&P 500 has generated a total return of 286%, meaning you could have tripled your money by simply investing in an exchange traded fund that tracks the popular index. That said, greater rewards await savvy investors who are willing to research and build a diversified portfolio of individual stocks. For those interested in long-term growth, tech standouts HubSpot ( HUBS 3.21% ) and Okta ( OKTA -1.76% ) look like smart investments. Both have the potential to quadruple in value over the next 10 years, growing at a pace that would turn an initial investment of $250,000 split evenly between these stocks into a collective $1 million. What makes these companies ready for such monster growth? Let's take a look.HubSpot: Customer relationship managementHubSpot provides customer relationship management (CRM) software, offering tools that drive productivity across marketing, sales, customer service, and operations. The HubSpot app marketplace lists over 1,000 integrations that extend the functionality of its CRM suite, connecting with social media apps like Meta Platforms' Instagram, commerce software like Shopify, and email systems like Microsoft ( MSFT 1.64% ) Outlook.Of course, HubSpot faces intense competition from other CRM vendors like Salesforce, which generated 20 times more revenue than HubSpot over the last 12 months. But HubSpot's advantage lies in the quickly growing marketing automation space, where it holds nearly 34% market share. For context, the marketing automation industry was worth $3.6 billion in 2020, and is expected to grow threefold in the next five years. That edge could certainly help HubSpot grow over the next decade. But more immediately, this advantage in marketing automation gives HubSpot a foothold in the broader CRM industry, allowing the company to execute its land-and-expand growth strategy. As of fourth quarter 2021, 60% of customers use multiple HubSpot products, compared to 34% in 2017. This uptick in adoption has translated into strong financial results. In 2021, revenue rose 47% to $1.3 billion, and the company generated free cash flow of $203.3 million, up from $79.1 million the year prior. Analysts believe there's even more room for HubSpot to grow: Brad Sills of Bank of America Securities ( BAC 3.13% ) puts HubSpot's addressable market at $87 billion. To that end, HubSpot continues to innovate and expand its capabilities. Last year, it partnered with Stripe to launch HubSpot Payments, a tool that streamlines sales by enabling digital payments directly through its CRM platform. HubSpot also launched Operations Hub, a software product that helps operations teams sync data between applications and automate various business processes. Here's the bottom line: HubSpot helps its clients provide a great consumer experience across the entire customer lifecycle. That value proposition resonates with businesses in virtually every industry. More importantly, HubSpot has achieved a strong competitive position, especially in marketing automation software, and that tailwind should be a growth driver in the years ahead. In fact, I think this $23 billion business could grow fourfold to $92 billion over the next decade.Okta: CybersecurityOkta helps organizations protect sensitive applications and data. Its primary offering, Okta Identity Cloud, is a suite of identity and access management (IAM) tools that securely connects users to necessary technologies. Okta uses artificial intelligence to continuously analyze contextual signals (such as user, device, and location) to score the risk associated with each sign-in attempt. Following this formula, the platform only authenticates and authorizes appropriate users. Given the growing need for cybersecurity -- the number of Internet of Things cyberattacks alone is expected to double by 2025 -- this stock looks like a prime candidate for fourfold returns.Okta's technology is highly versatile and addresses both workforce and customer identity use cases. Okta Identity Cloud integrates with over 7,000 different software products and infrastructure providers. Okta also provides developer tools that allow clients to incorporate Okta technology into other applications. Unlike rivals such as Microsoft, Okta is infrastructure-agnostic; its identity tools aren't associated with a specific cloud vendor and the company has no incentive to push clients toward particular technologies. This neutrality gives Okta a significant edge, spurring Gartner and Forrester Research to recognize the company as a leader in the IAM space. Those accolades came alongside solid financial performance. In the past year, revenue soared 56% to $1.3 billion, and the company generated positive free cash flow of $87 million. This free cash flow represents a 22% drop compared to the year prior, due in large part to expenses associated with Okta's acquisition of Auth0. However, that acquisition strengthens Okta's position in the customer identity space. While Okta already had an impressive ecosystem of pre-built integrations, Auth0's developer tools make its easy to embed IAM solutions into any application, including consumer-facing ones.Last year, Okta announced the launch of two new products: Identity Governance, which simplifies reporting and automates workflows, and Privileged Access, which ensures heightened protection of highly valuable accounts. Collectively, these new products will strengthen Okta's position in the workforce identity space, pushing the company's addressable market to $80 billion. Both products are set to launch in first quarter 2022, and management will report on progress later in the year. For now, though, these announcements highlight Okta's ambitious growth strategy and underscore its commitment to industry expansion. In short, Okta has carved out a leadership position in the IAM industry, and through acquisition and innovation, management is working to strengthen that position. More broadly, cybersecurity will only become more critical as the number of connected devices continues to proliferate. That's why I think this growth stock -- which currently has a market cap of $27 billion -- could grow fourfold to $108 billion over the next decade.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"OKTA":0.9,"IAM":1,"MSFT":0.87,"HUBS":0.9,"CRM":1}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":465,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9098512780,"gmtCreate":1644188027363,"gmtModify":1676533896423,"author":{"id":"4098931435636140","authorId":"4098931435636140","name":"Leeyongtatt","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/106b9b3f9de3174e8eec37b67aeb8860","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4098931435636140","idStr":"4098931435636140"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Wow ","listText":"Wow ","text":"Wow","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9098512780","repostId":"1167513065","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1167513065","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1644109830,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1167513065?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-02-06 09:10","market":"us","language":"en","title":"How Tesla Could Be Bigger Than Ford and GM—Combined—in Just 5 Years","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1167513065","media":"Barrons","summary":"Teslacould be bigger than bothGeneral MotorsandFord Motorcombined, by sales, in justfive years— if everything plays out the way Morgan Stanley analystAdam Jonasis thinking. It’s a provocative idea for ","content":"

Tesla could be bigger than both General Motors and Ford Motor combined, by sales, in justfive years— if everything plays out the way Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas is thinking.

It’s a provocative idea for investors to ponder — and a bit of a shocking one.

Two century-old auto makers with hundreds of billions in sales eclipsed by a start-up founded less than 20 years ago doesn’t seem plausible. It really shouldn’t be. The market has already declared a victory in the electric vehicle transition. Still, the math behind that kind of market share shift and growth is something to behold.

“Most auto investors we speak with still struggle with the idea that Tesla could ever be bigger than either GM or Ford,” wrote Jonas in a report published Thursday.

But Jonas doesn’t find the idea hard to grasp, at all. In fact, he believes Tesla sales will be larger that GM plus Ford by 2027.

There is one catch with his thought experiment. Tesla will be bigger than both on a “run-rate” basis — essentially annualizing whatever data is most recent. Tesla, for instance, sold roughly 309,000 cars in the fourth quarter of 2021. Using Jonas’ math, the EV pioneer is producing cars at a run-rate of roughly 1.24 million units.

Tesla’s fourth-quarter sales came in at roughly $25 billion, putting its run-rate sales at $100 billion or so. It really shouldn’t be. The market has already declared a victory in the electric vehicle transition. Still, the math behind that kind of market share shift and growth is something to behold.“Most auto investors we speak with still struggle with the idea that Tesla could ever be bigger than either GM or Ford,” wrote Jonas in a report published Thursday.But Jonas doesn’t find the idea hard to grasp, at all. In fact, he believes Tesla sales will be larger that GM plus Ford by 2027.There is one catch with his thought experiment. Tesla will be bigger than both on a “run-rate” basis — essentially annualizing whatever data is most recent. Tesla, for instance, sold roughly 309,000 cars in the fourth quarter of 2021. Using Jonas’ math, the EV pioneer is producing cars at a run-rate of roughly 1.24 million units.Tesla’s fourth-quarter sales came in at roughly $25 billion, putting its run-rate sales at $100 billion or so. GM’s amounted to $33.5 billion, or an annual run rate of about $134 billion. And Ford’s came in at $37.7 billion,or an annual run rate of about $151 billion.For January, Jonas calculates Tesla had 4% of the dollar value of U.S. sales and he estimates the company’s share of unit sales was about 3.5%. I suspect that it may be at a point where investors can begin accumulating it. One reason is that I foresee that AMZN stock will stage a rebound sometime this quarter or in the spring.After peaking at $3,696.06 on Nov. 18, the stock has taken a tumble. At the end of December, AMZN stock closed at $3,334.34. But as of Jan. 13, it was lower at $3,224.28. That represents a drop of about 10% from its peak and a decline of 3.3% since the beginning of 2022.However, once the company issues its upcoming earnings, I suspect that AMZN stock could make a rebound. Let’s look at this further.Where Things Stand at Amazon.comAmazon is likely to release its fourth-quarter (Q4) earnings report sometime before the end of this month. This is because it usually releases its quarterly earnings at the end of the month following the quarter-end.More importantly, the release is likely to show a much higher free cash flow (FCF) figure than it did last quarter. In Q3, Amazon reported that its last 12 months (LTM) FCF fell to just$2.6 billion. This was substantially lower than its year-earlier Q3 LTM figure of $29.5 billion.By the way, Amazon is one of the only large companies that reports its earnings this way. It likes to use a quarterly comparison of full-year FCF on a look-back basis over the prior 12 months.This is most likely because the Christmas quarter (Q4) is such a large portion of its overall free cash flow. In other words, the quarterly changes are irrelevant, unless seen on an LTM basis, because the Christmas quarter is such an important factor.One Time Costs and FCFAs I wrote last month, Amazon experienced a good deal of difficulty in operating costs. This is likely from the travails from Covid-19 and its effect on Amazon’s business. For example, its freight and shipping costs increased 20% on a year-over-year (YOY) basis in Q3.Moreover, shipping costs were up 30% in Q2 and 57% in Q1. This goes a long way in explaining why the Q3 trailing-12-month (TTM) free cash flow figures were significantly lower. However, you can see that the YOY cost increases have been declining. This could mean that Amazon is adapting to these changes.Therefore, I suspect that the Q4 might not show as great an increase in these costs. As a result, FCF margins might be better than expected, given the poor results in Q3.Free Cash Flow Estimates for AMZN StockHistorically, Amazon has made TTM FCF margins of 8.5% or higher. Last year, Amazon made $29.5 billion in TTM FCF on sales of $348 billion. That is an LTM FCF margin of 8.5%.So, Amazon could be at a low here in terms of its poor LTM FCF margins. Going forward, FCF margins might be at least 4.25%, half of the historical quarterly averages.Therefore, assuming sales hit $553 billion in 2022, using Seeking Alpha’s analyst estimates, the FCF forecast for 2022 will be $23.5 billion. This is the result of multiplying 4.25% by $553 billion.This is almost 10 times the $2.5 billion that Amazon made in LTM FCF during Q3. So, it represents a huge turnaround in the FCF. And remember, we are only using half of the normal 8.5% FCF margin for Amazon.Where This Leaves AMZN StockUsing a 1% FCF yield metric, we can forecast that Amazon’s market value will reach $2.35 trillion. This is the result of dividing $23.5 billion by 0.01 (i.e., $23.5b / 1.0% = $2.35 trillion).This $2.35 trillion target market value is 43.73% higher than Amazon’s existing market value of $1.635 trillion.That implies that AMZN stock is worth 43.73% more than its price today of $3,224.28. That puts its target value at $4,634.26 per share.Here is the good thing about this. Even if it takes 2 years for the stock to rise 43.73% to this price, the average annual return will be about 20% annually (19.9%).So, investing in AMZN stock should provide at least a 20% average return over the next 2 years, and possibly much more. That is a very good return on investment for most investors, especially over the long-term.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AMZN":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":677,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9000732694,"gmtCreate":1640303987149,"gmtModify":1676533515069,"author":{"id":"4098931435636140","authorId":"4098931435636140","name":"Leeyongtatt","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/106b9b3f9de3174e8eec37b67aeb8860","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4098931435636140","idStr":"4098931435636140"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Oh wow ","listText":"Oh wow ","text":"Oh wow","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9000732694","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":769,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0}],"lives":[]}
