This is as the company grew its position in two major businesses: e-commerce and cloud computing.</p><p>Today, net sales continue to climb at Amazon thanks to its leadership in these areas. But higher costs and supply chain troubles have been weighing on earnings. As a result, operating income and operating cash flow have been on the decline.</p><p>The stock price, too, has suffered. It&#39;s lost 32% so far this year. And that leaves Amazon trading at less than 3 times sales. That&#39;s close to its lowest level in about six years.</p><p>Here&#39;s why this is a bargain for Amazon. Today&#39;s troubles are linked to the overall economy, so they&#39;re temporary. At the same time, the company is making progress in handling them. It&#39;s controlling certain costs and improving productivity, for example.</p><p>Another bright spot is the cloud computing business, Amazon Web Services (AWS). It has continued to grow in spite of today&#39;s tough economy. AWS posted double-digit gains in sales and operating income in the second quarter. As for e-commerce, the strength of its Prime subscription service should power earnings growth once the economy improves. As it stands today, Prime members continue to spend more and more on the platform.</p><p>All of this makes me optimistic that Amazon can once again deliver more than just packages. It has what it takes to deliver great gains to shareholders over time.</p><h2>2. Home Depot</h2><p>When it comes to earnings, Home Depot has defied the general economic gloom. In the second quarter, the world&#39;s biggest home improvement retailer reported its highest quarterly sales and earnings ever. The stock price hasn&#39;t followed, though. Home Depot shares have lost more than 30% since the beginning of the year.</p><p>This leaves the shares trading at about 17 times forward earnings estimates. That&#39;s lower than the more than 25 number earlier this year. At the same time, as mentioned above, revenue continues to rise. 21.5% in the last year, touching close to its 52-week low of S$0.50.</p><p>For the REIT’s fiscal 2022’s first half (1H2022), it reported a 27.2% year on year jump in gross revenue to €30.1 million.</p><p>Net property income (NPI) rose 26.4% year on year to €24.4 million.</p><p>Distribution per unit (DPU) after retention came up to €0.0141, dipping slightly below the €0.0143 paid out a year ago.</p><p>iREIT Global’s units provide a forward distribution yield of 7.3%.</p><p>The REIT’s aggregate leverage stood at 30.8% as of 30 June 2022 with a low cost of borrowings of 1.8%, allowing it sufficient debt headroom for acquisitions.</p><h2><a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/ODBU.SI\">United Hampshire US REIT</a></h2><p>United Hampshire US REIT, or UHREIT, invests in a portfolio of grocery-anchored and necessity-based properties in the US.</p><p>Its portfolio comprises 21 grocery and necessity properties as well as two self-storage properties.</p><p>UHREIT’s unit price has tumbled 13.2% in the past year and is hovering close to its 52-week low of US$0.58.</p><p>For 1H2022, the REIT reported an 18.5% year on year rise in gross revenue to US$31.8 million and a 10.6% year on year increase in NPI to US$22.6 million.</p><p>DPU, however, fell by 4.6% year on year to US$0.0291.</p><p>Adjusted DPU, which excludes the effects of top-ups and stipulated damages, increased by 13.4% year on year to US$0.0288.</p><p>Annualised 1H2022 DPU stands at US$0.0582, giving UHREIT’s units a forward distribution yield of 9.9%.</p><p>UHREIT had just concluded the divestment of two self-storage properties at a 17.7% premium over their purchase price, and also made its third yield-accretive acquisition of Upland Square to boost its portfolio size to US$732.9 million.</p><h2><a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/MXNU.SI\">Elite Commercial REIT</a></h2><p>Elite Commercial REIT owns a portfolio of 155 predominantly freehold buildings across the UK that are primarily occupied by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), the UK’s largest public service department.</p><p>Elite’s unit price has declined from £0.67 to a 52-week low of £0.56, a drop of 16.4%.</p><p>1H2022 saw revenue rise 17.7% year on year to £18.7 million due to contributions from Elite’s maiden acquisition of 58 properties in March last year.</p><p>DPU, however, dipped by 2.7% year on year to £0.0256.</p><p>Units of the commercial REIT offer a prospective distribution yield of 9.1%.</p><p>All leases for the properties within the portfolio are on a triple-net basis, and the bulk of the properties have a built-in inflation-linked rent uplift clause.</p><p>Elite’s borrowing cost remained low at 2.3% with 63% of its debt on fixed rates. When you add in its other platforms -- which include Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp -- it has close to 3 billion daily active users.</p><p>Meanwhile, according to the company, &#34;Meta is moving beyond 2D screens toward immersive experiences like augmented and virtual reality to help build the next evolution in social technology,&#34; -- thus its other main division, &#34;Reality Labs.&#34; So far, it&#39;s far from a big money-making enterprise, but management has high hopes for it. The company is also chasing additional profits from expanded e-commerce operations, greater use of artificial intelligence for driving content recommendations, and its answer to TikTok videos -- reels.</p><p>So why might Meta Platforms be a value stock? Well, its recent performances have disappointed investors, and their responses to its results, along with the overall market downturn, have sent its shares down by nearly 60% from their 52-week high. Now, they trade at a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 14, well below their five-year average of 27. This could be a great buying opportunity for long-term believers in Mark Zuckerberg and his business.</p><h2><b>2. ServiceNow</b></h2><p><b>ServiceNow</b>, has a market cap of more than $90 billion, but its shares have fallen this year to about 36% below their 52-week high. The software-as-a-service company describes itself like this: &#34;Our cloud‑based platform and solutions help digitize and unify organizations so that they can find smarter, faster, better ways to make work flow&#34; and so &#34;employees and customers can be more connected, more innovative, and more agile.&#34;</p><p>Its second quarter featured subscription revenue of $1.7 billion, up 25% year over year, and total revenue of $1.8 billion, up 24%. Subscription income can be a big plus for a business, as it tends to keep recurring regularly, making it easier for management to plan. The company also noted: &#34;ServiceNow continues to expand its global footprint with more than 100 customers now paying over $10 million in annual contract value in Q2 2022, up more than 50% year‑over‑year.&#34;</p><p>Clearly, this is an attractive business -- and it&#39;s trading at attractive levels, too, with a recent forward-price-to-earnings ratio of 52, well below its five-year average of 80.</p><h2><b>3. ASML Holding</b></h2><p>Netherlands-based <b>ASML Holding</b> is, in its own words, &#34;a leading supplier to the semiconductor industry. The company provides chipmakers with hardware, software and services to mass produce the patterns of integrated circuits (microchips). Together with its partners, ASML drives the advancement of more affordable, more powerful, more energy-efficient microchips.&#34; Its market cap recently was near $185 billion, and it employs some 35,000 people.</p><p>The company&#39;s second-quarter report was a bit of a mixed bag. On the one hand, it booked a record level of new orders and the company&#39;s backlog of orders stands at around 33 billion euros -- reflecting great demand for its products. On the other hand, the company (like many others) is being pressured by supply chain issues and inflation. In response, management has reduced its expectations for revenue growth and profitability.</p><p>Its shares, meanwhile, were recently down some 47% from their 52-week high. Yes, it&#39;s facing some headwinds, but these headwinds are not likely to last forever. The stock&#39;s recent price-to-cash-flow ratio was recently 20, well below its five-year average of 37, suggesting undervaluation. At this level, it should draw the attention of investors.</p><p>These are just a few of the many compellingly valued stocks out there now, and plenty of these businesses have been growing at a rapid clip, too. But there's a problem -- growth stocks are not always attractively valued. If you buy one when it's overvalued, it stands a decent chance of declining in the near term.So you might want to consider being more of a value investor, seeking terrific undervalued stocks. Better still, you might look for fast-growing companies with undervalued shares. If you find them, you'll end up with stocks that reflect both growth and value.Here are three stocks that seem meaningfully undervalued, and each of them could be considered a growth stock, as well. They're solid candidates if you have $5,000 to spend -- and even if you have $1,000 or $50,000 to spend.1. Meta PlatformsMeta Platforms is the company you might know as Facebook, but it changed its name in 2021 to reflect the scope of its operations and ambitions beyond its original social media platform. Its social media operations are rather enormous, though, with nearly 3 billion monthly active users and nearly 2 billion daily active users for Facebook alone. When you add in its other platforms -- which include Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp -- it has close to 3 billion daily active users.Meanwhile, according to the company, \"Meta is moving beyond 2D screens toward immersive experiences like augmented and virtual reality to help build the next evolution in social technology,\" -- thus its other main division, \"Reality Labs.\" So far, it's far from a big money-making enterprise, but management has high hopes for it. The company is also chasing additional profits from expanded e-commerce operations, greater use of artificial intelligence for driving content recommendations, and its answer to TikTok videos -- reels.So why might Meta Platforms be a value stock? Well, its recent performances have disappointed investors, and their responses to its results, along with the overall market downturn, have sent its shares down by nearly 60% from their 52-week high. Now, they trade at a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 14, well below their five-year average of 27. This could be a great buying opportunity for long-term believers in Mark Zuckerberg and his business.2. ServiceNowServiceNow, has a market cap of more than $90 billion, but its shares have fallen this year to about 36% below their 52-week high. The software-as-a-service company describes itself like this: \"Our cloud‑based platform and solutions help digitize and unify organizations so that they can find smarter, faster, better ways to make work flow\" and so \"employees and customers can be more connected, more innovative, and more agile.\"Its second quarter featured subscription revenue of $1.7 billion, up 25% year over year, and total revenue of $1.8 billion, up 24%. Subscription income can be a big plus for a business, as it tends to keep recurring regularly, making it easier for management to plan. The company also noted: \"ServiceNow continues to expand its global footprint with more than 100 customers now paying over $10 million in annual contract value in Q2 2022, up more than 50% year‑over‑year.\"Clearly, this is an attractive business -- and it's trading at attractive levels, too, with a recent forward-price-to-earnings ratio of 52, well below its five-year average of 80.3. ASML HoldingNetherlands-based ASML Holding is, in its own words, \"a leading supplier to the semiconductor industry. The company provides chipmakers with hardware, software and services to mass produce the patterns of integrated circuits (microchips). Together with its partners, ASML drives the advancement of more affordable, more powerful, more energy-efficient microchips.\" Its market cap recently was near $185 billion, and it employs some 35,000 people.The company's second-quarter report was a bit of a mixed bag. On the one hand, it booked a record level of new orders and the company's backlog of orders stands at around 33 billion euros -- reflecting great demand for its products. On the other hand, the company (like many others) is being pressured by supply chain issues and inflation. In response, management has reduced its expectations for revenue growth and profitability.Its shares, meanwhile, were recently down some 47% from their 52-week high. Yes, it's facing some headwinds, but these headwinds are not likely to last forever. The stock's recent price-to-cash-flow ratio was recently 20, well below its five-year average of 37, suggesting undervaluation. At this level, it should draw the attention of investors.These are just a few of the many compellingly valued stocks out there now, and plenty of these businesses have been growing at a rapid clip, too.
