Another round of who does America hate less. Whilst I'm not a big fan of the elephant candidate, the donkey candidate doesn't impress much. If the elephant can bring the current global conflicts to a halt, perhaps we can live with his pointless tirades for the time being.
$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ took profit on half my holdings. Will reenter on a pullback. Whether my prediction comes through or not, taking profit never wrong.
$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ the robotaxi event was a bust. The tech is intriguing but the focus seems to be on its path to market and profitability. Netflix moved from renting DVDs to streaming and killed Blockbuster. This is Tesla's Netflix moment. If it cannot transcend car manufacturing to become a software giant. Am not interested in deliveries. Will stay Bearish until better data comes about Tesla's next move.
When Hindenberg reports on a company, just walk away. It's not worth it. They haven't been far wrong in most of their reports. There's plenty of fish in the sea, why take the risk on a potentially rotten one
$Alibaba(BABA)$ indifferent. Baba might have all the technicals that make it a good deal but it's like having a great party no one wants to go to. It's hard to predict what geopolitical excreta will happen and affect it's prices. Am unimpressed with this stock at this point. China is in the doldrums at this point. Maybe there's some meat in the long term but the underlying situation in it's home base doesn't say otherwise at the moment. No rush to go in.
When a company fakes their revenue recognition, you have no idea whether they were actually profitable or was all the numbers fudged. This is similar to Larkin when Hindenberg wrote about them. Was a fan, operative word is WAS.
Should You Buy the Dip in Super Micro Computer Stock?
$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ stock has been fluctuating sideways. Time to give this stock a rest and rotate my options to other areas. $Eli Lilly(LLY)$ is heading into earnings and has take a $100 beating due to concerns about glp1 competition. Picked up some synths on this counter.
Harris is a bit of a late comer. She will need to overcome sexism, racism and all the other isms that makes America "great". Trump still has a edge but let's give Harris a chance and see what she delivers. 💪
No for me. Not sure how much liability and reputational loss will result from this. Any bad news could send the stock lower. Right now customers are just focusing on getting back on their feet. They will look for blood shortly, regardless of the rubbish t&c they have with crwd.
Should You Buy CrowdStrike’s Stock Now? This May Be a "One-Time Discount Sale."
If Trump shoots ahead in polls, market will turn bullish. Historically, the more clear cut a presidential race is, the better the market performs. Probably due to lesser uncertainty. The shooting will probably boost his ratings past Mr McGoo.
$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ if you've been a Tesla bull for the long haul, then we need to dig in and wait for all the non car making tailwinds to kick in. If Musk can deliver that in Aug, $300 and eventually Wood's $3000 target wouldn't be too far of a stretch
$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ Pelosi has not been wrong on most of her stock purchases. If she decides it's time to go back in, contrarian to all the AI naysayers, I'm with her. Good leadership, products so good that there is a shadow business smuggling NVDA chips into China, let's go to 200.
I used to. These days I would dump the stock for non performance. Waiting for a dead horse to come back to life is the most soul sucking thing to watch. If it shows promise later, just buy it back. No emotions. The top consultancy firms do this exercise every quarter where they cut the bottom 10%. We should do the same.
