Our Vision
To pioneer innovative renal therapies and deliver the best solutions for patients with kidney disease.
Our Mission
To become a leading global player in the fight against kidney disease, leveraging our deep expertise, unwavering dedication, and cutting-edge capabilities in product discovery and development.
Founded in 2018, we are a world‑leading biopharmaceutical company focused on kidney diseases, boasting one of the most comprehensive portfolios of innovative renal therapeutics. We have established a vertically integrated platform that spans the research, development, manufacturing, and commercialization of novel treatments targeting kidney diseases and their complications, aiming to provide patients in China and around the world with expanded therapeutic options.
We have built a diversified and balanced pipeline of drug candidates addressing multiple kidney‑related indications, including chronic kidney disease (CKD) and dialysis‑related complications, IgA nephropathy (IgAN), diabetic kidney disease (DKD), focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), and autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD).
Our small‑molecule manufacturing facility in Yangzhou has been completed and is now operational. Simultaneously, we have assembled a dedicated commercial team in China responsible for marketing and promoting our renal disease therapies.
Kidney disease refers to abnormalities in kidney structure or function that may occur suddenly, resolve, or progress to a chronic condition. Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is an umbrella term for a heterogeneous group of clinical entities, varying in etiology, severity, and rate of progression. CKD represents a growing public health challenge worldwide, with incidence rates steadily rising in recent years. According to the latest epidemiological data from China, the prevalence of CKD among adults reaches as high as 10%. With an overall prevalence of 8%, this translates to approximately 120 million individuals affected, including over one million patients with end‑stage renal disease. However, the diagnosis rate for CKD in China remains low at just 12.5%, indicating that many patients still lack access to appropriate care.
The core objective of CKD management is to slow the decline in renal function before patients progress to end‑stage renal failure and, once they reach this stage, to mitigate morbidity and mortality through effective treatment of associated complications. Despite ongoing efforts, current standards for managing CKD remain inadequate, residual cardio‑renal risks persist, and there remains a significant unmet need for new therapies.
