Shares of Sanvo Chemicals (SEHK: 00301) surged more than 10.99% in the morning session, reaching a high of HK$5.35 and setting a new record high since its listing.
The stock has been on a sustained upward trajectory since early June, with its share price accumulating gains of over 170% in the past month.
At the time of writing, the stock was up 10.99%, trading at HK$5.35 with a turnover of HK$8.0466 million.
The company recently announced that, based on the group's unaudited management accounts for the five months ended May 31, 2026, and currently available financial information, it achieved a net profit of not less than RMB 2.5 million.
This compares to a net loss of approximately RMB 11.4 million for the six months ended June 30, 2025.
The primary reasons for the increase in profit were reductions in sales and distribution expenses as well as administrative expenses, coupled with gains from the disposal of subsidiary equity.
It is anticipated that the group's performance for the six months ending June 30, 2026, will show a turnaround to profitability with increased earnings.
