Fuel prices in Hainan are set for a reduction starting this evening.
Following the announcement of a national adjustment in refined oil product prices by the National Development and Reform Commission on June 4th, the maximum retail prices for gasoline and diesel in Hainan will be lowered accordingly, effective from 24:00 on June 4th.
The new maximum retail prices per liter are as follows: 89# gasoline is set at 8.73 yuan, a decrease of 0.38 yuan; 92# gasoline is set at 9.47 yuan, a decrease of 0.42 yuan; 95# gasoline is set at 10.06 yuan, a decrease of 0.45 yuan; and 0# diesel is set at 8.12 yuan, a decrease of 0.44 yuan.
In line with regulations linking oil and gas prices, the retail price for compressed natural gas (CNG) for vehicles in Hainan will also be reduced. The new price is 5.76 yuan per cubic meter, down from 6.05 yuan per cubic meter.
It is important to note that the listed gasoline prices include a vehicle passage surcharge of 1.05 yuan per liter, while the diesel price does not include this fee.
