DouYu Reports Q3 2025 Financial Results: Revenue Hits RMB 899 Million with Net Profit Surging 232.8% YoY

On the evening of November 20, DouYu released its unaudited financial results for the third quarter of 2025. The report shows that the company's total revenue for Q3 reached RMB 899 million.

DouYu's profitability continued to improve, with gross profit rising to RMB 116 million, a 90.9% year-over-year (YoY) increase. The gross margin stood at 12.9%. Net profit surged to RMB 11.33 million, up 232.8% YoY, while adjusted net profit reached RMB 23.14 million, marking a turnaround from losses in the same period last year.

The platform reported an average mobile MAU of 30.5 million for Q3, with quarterly paying users totaling 2.7 million.

During the quarter, DouYu deepened its focus on gaming and esports live streaming, broadcasting over 60 official tournaments, including the EWC Esports World Cup, 2025 KPL Annual Finals, 2025 LPL Finals, and 2025 DOTA2 International. Additionally, it organized 30+ platform-exclusive tournaments, such as the Peace Elite Golden Grand Prix, Delta Force Hero Bounty Tournament, Valorant Fish Cup, and DouYu DOTA2 Pokémon Season 5.

Co-CEO Ren Simin stated, "In Q3 2025, we upgraded our corporate strategy in response to market competition and user demands, emphasizing the importance of industrial value chain operations. We further refined our operational tactics and organizational structure to enhance agility and responsiveness, enabling us to better serve user needs and capitalize on business opportunities. Meanwhile, our profitability continued to strengthen, with YoY improvements in gross profit, operating profit, and net profit."
