The AI platform "Liblib AI" was recently highlighted by CCTV Finance for having significant content security vulnerabilities. A journalist's test found that by inputting specific prompts, the platform could generate semi-nude videos of women within minutes, indicating its review mechanisms are largely ineffective. The founder of Liblib AI, Chen Mian, born in 1992, previously served as the global commercialization lead for ByteDance's video editing app, CapCut, and became the youngest product executive at ByteDance at the age of 28. His prior work experience includes roles at Mobike, Didi, and MissFresh. According to Tianyancha, Liblib AI has completed five funding rounds since 2023, backed by prominent investors including Sequoia China and GSR Ventures. The most recent round occurred in October 2025, raising $130 million from investors such as Sequoia China, CMC Capital, Shunwei Capital, and Lenovo Capital.
