New Zealand Central Bank Increases US Dollar Weighting in Trade-Weighted Index

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand announced that the annual reweighting of its trade-weighted currency index will take effect on December 4. The weighting of the Australian dollar was reduced from 18.4% to 17.8%, while the US dollar's weighting increased from 15.6% to 16.2%. The euro's weighting remained largely unchanged at 9.2%, and the Japanese yen's weighting decreased from 5.51% to 4.7%.
