A new system update is being rolled out for Xiaomi's Redmi Note 17 series smartphones, bringing significant improvements to system fluidity.
According to a tipster, the update includes dedicated optimizations for popular apps like WeChat, Toutiao, and Taobao, making the user interface feel smoother and more responsive.
The update is being pushed in stages, with the full rollout expected to be completed in about a week.
The Redmi Note 17 series, launched in July, includes both a standard model and a Pro variant. The standard model is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset and features a 7-inch OLED eye-care display, starting at 1,299 yuan. The Pro model is equipped with a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor and a 9,000mAh battery, with a starting price of 1,599 yuan.
