STANCHART (02888) Repurchases 931,778 Shares at 1,635.98 Pence Average; Buy-back Spend Reaches US$271.08 Million

Standard Chartered PLC (STANCHART, 02888) bought back 931,778 ordinary shares on 18 March 2026 under the share repurchase programme launched on 24 February 2026. The transaction was executed through J.P. Morgan Securities plc.

The shares were acquired at prices ranging from 1,621.00 pence to 1,657.00 pence, with a volume-weighted average price of 1,635.98 pence.

By trading venue: • London Stock Exchange: 558,570 shares at a 1,635.88 pence average • CBOE BXE: 187,000 shares at a 1,636.08 pence average • CBOE CXE: 186,208 shares at a 1,636.16 pence average

Cumulative expenditure on the programme stood at US$271.08 million as of the close on 17 March 2026. All repurchased shares will be cancelled, reducing the company’s issued share capital to 2,240,831,964 ordinary shares, representing the same number of voting rights.

The buy-back continues to operate within pre-set parameters and in compliance with applicable UK regulations.
