Tianfeng Securities Sues Former Vice President Guo Shengbei

Deep News12-12

Recently, court announcements in Shanghai revealed that Tianfeng Securities Co.,Ltd.'s Shanghai proprietary trading branch has filed a lawsuit against Guo Shengbei, with the hearing scheduled for December 11 at the Shanghai No. 1 Intermediate People's Court.

Guo Shengbei previously served as Vice President of Tianfeng Securities. During his tenure, he also held the position of General Manager of the Shanghai Proprietary Trading Branch, overseeing proprietary trading operations. He resigned from his vice presidential role in July 2022.

In August 2023, Guo Shengbei published an open letter titled "Eight Questions to Zhai Chenxi, Former Executive Vice President of Tianfeng Securities" on social media, publicly accusing Tianfeng Securities Chairman Yu Lei and others. In the letter, he claimed to have repeatedly warned about credit bond risks but was instructed by senior management to increase positions, ultimately becoming the scapegoat for resulting losses. He also questioned Zhai Chenxi's awareness of the related operations.
