Across the board, high and low-priced varieties coexisted, with significant divergence persisting in the price movements of core products. Terminal trading sentiment showed marginal improvement, yet the overall pattern of low-price volatility remained unbroken.
Today, among the 11 major baijiu products, six rose, four fell, and one remained flat, with gainers holding the advantage. On the upside, Gujing Gong Wine's Gu 20 led gains, rising by 6 yuan per bottle to match its highest price in nearly a month. Premium Moutai and Xijiu Junpin both increased by 5 yuan per bottle, with the former successfully solidifying its position around the 2,400 yuan level. Wuliangye 1618 rose by 3 yuan per bottle. Qinghua Fen 20 increased by 2 yuan per bottle, climbing back above the 370 yuan mark. The standard eighth-generation Wuliangye saw a minor increase of 1 yuan per bottle, recovering slightly from the lowest level recorded since the Liquor Price Index began statistics last November, yet it remains near its second-lowest level in nearly eight months. On the downside, Guojiao 1573 led declines, falling by 5 yuan per bottle. Qinghua Lang dropped by 4 yuan per bottle, with both products marking two consecutive days of decline. Feitian Moutai decreased by 3 yuan per bottle, with its premium over the official i-Moutai platform price continuing to narrow. These points include, but are not limited to, authorized distributors designated by liquor companies, independent distributors, e-commerce platforms, and retail outlets. The raw sampling data consists of actual, transacted terminal retail prices handled by these points over the past 24 hours, aiming to provide objective, scientific, and fully traceable data on the market prices of renowned baijiu products for all stakeholders. Following the official launch of the i-Moutai platform's sale of Feitian Moutai at 1,499 yuan per bottle around New Year's Day (adjusted to 1,539 yuan per bottle on March 31) and the launch of Premium Moutai at 2,299 yuan per bottle on January 9 (adjusted to 2,359 yuan per bottle on May 16), the gravitational influence of this new sales channel on the average terminal retail prices of these two products has gradually become apparent. The daily liquor prices published by the Liquor Price Index adhere to a calculation rule weighted by actual transaction volume, and we have incorporated verifiable transaction prices into the calculation of the terminal retail prices for these two products.
In significant baijiu industry news, Yanghe Co., Ltd. announced that its board of directors recently received a written resignation request from Gu Yu. Due to work requirements, Chairman Gu Yu will no longer concurrently serve as the company's President. Following review and approval by the company's board nomination committee, the board agreed to appoint current Vice President Chen Jun as the company's President.
