As part of the agreement reached last week between US President Donald Trump and Tehran, the United States has authorized the sale of a portion of Iranian crude oil and petroleum products.
US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated in a social media post that the Treasury Department issued a 60-day temporary authorization on Monday, permitting Iran to sell some of its energy exports until August 21st.
