According to Zhitong Finance APP, the "2026 JD Industrials Smart Sensor Industry Empowerment Launch Event," jointly organized by JD Industrials (07618) and the Shenzhen Smart Sensor Association, was held in Guangming District, Shenzhen, to support investment promotion and industrial cooperation in the Shenzhen-Dongguan-Huizhou industrial belt and to advance regional industrial resource integration and coordinated development.

Nearly 100 companies attended, including Guangming Kefa, Xinwei Technology, Huion Technology, Meisi Xianduan, Yipuxing, Langrui Sensing, and Jingyouda.

JD Industrials released seven major cooperation directions for the smart sensor industry: jointly building an online sensor innovation platform; promoting the online and catalog-based sales of enterprise products, especially standard parts and inventory items; co-hosting "Smart Sensor Plus" industry events; jointly publishing sensor industry standards; strategic investment; breakthroughs in private-label sensor categories; and cooperation on domestic brands going global, providing comprehensive support for sensor companies to scale up.

Jiang Yong, Chairman of the Shenzhen Smart Sensor Association, said sensor companies generally face real pain points such as single customer acquisition channels, insufficient major client resources, high supply chain costs, difficulty in overseas expansion, and long scenario verification cycles, as well as "long tail" characteristics including customization, multiple varieties, small batches, and small single-item order sizes.

As a leading industrial supply chain technology and service solutions provider in China, JD Industrials has proposed a full-chain digital and intelligent supply chain layout approach that helps companies build a digital highway linking both ends of supply and demand, he said.

The association will work closely with JD Industrials to empower the sensor industry.

Intelligent sensors are one of the three leading advantage industries in Guangming District's "3+3+1" modern industrial system, said Wu Yan, Deputy Director of the Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Guangming District, Shenzhen.

Guangming District has established the Greater Bay Area Smart Sensor Industry Community and specialized parks, jointly building a public service platform of about 10,000 square meters, supported by an industrial fund with a total scale of 5 billion yuan; the cluster has been selected as a national-level characteristic industrial cluster for small and medium-sized enterprises, with a scale of more than 18 billion yuan in 2025.

"Guangming District supports platforms such as JD Industrials in bringing orders, standards, and fulfillment capabilities into the cluster, and will continue to do a good job in scenario opening and supply-demand matching."

A relevant person in charge of JD Industrials introduced the service capabilities the company provides to the industry in technological innovation, fulfillment, and other areas: for large-scale delivery and overseas expansion needs, JD Industrials relies on the Taipu digital-physical integrated solution and the JoyIndustrial industrial large model to form four types of Agent capabilities covering "research, production, supply, and service"; on the logistics side, it relies on more than 3,600 warehouses of JD Logistics to provide warehousing, transportation, distribution, and reverse services; on the international side, it has already established a presence in global markets including Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hungary, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates; on the capital side, it can be supported jointly by the group's strategic investment and the association's industrial fund.

Attending companies and JD Industrials held in-depth exchanges on topics such as channel expansion, selection standards, and cooperation models, and reached three consensus points: on channels, precise reach and targeted push to form a "customer-JD-supplier" pathway; on standards, jointly build an innovation application center, jointly publish industry standards, and establish a platform-led industry standard and selection whitelist system; on fulfillment, focus on warehousing and self-operation, and jointly explore a component buyout cooperation model to help manufacturers reduce channel investment and shorten payment collection cycles.

A business head of JD Industrials said: "JD Industrials hopes to bring digital and intelligent technology and supply chain operation capabilities into industrial belts, connect product flow, data flow, and service flow, provide sensor companies with full-process support from product listing, channel expansion, and standard co-building to fulfillment and overseas expansion, and also provide a new sample for the coordinated development of industrial belts and platforms."
