To further strengthen the foundation for cultivating a tiered system of high-quality small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), expand the province's pool of potential specialized and sophisticated enterprises that produce new and unique products, and stimulate innovation among SMEs, the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology recently issued a notice to initiate this year's second round of evaluations and reviews for innovative SMEs, as well as the recognition and review of specialized and sophisticated SMEs.
Eligible SMEs within the province must complete their applications by August 10.
The application process will be conducted both online and offline. Enterprises applying for the evaluation or review as an innovative SME must log into the High-Quality SME Gradient Cultivation Platform and upload supporting documents in the designated module.
Innovative SMEs or technology-based SMEs with valid qualifications can apply for recognition or review as a specialized and sophisticated SME by logging into the corresponding module and completing the application form.
For enterprises that have not yet been recognized as innovative SMEs but wish to apply for specialized and sophisticated status, this round allows for the simultaneous application for both qualifications, effectively shortening the cultivation cycle.
The notice mandates that the competent SME authorities in each city verify the authenticity of the application data through methods such as on-site inspections and third-party data validation, strictly preventing fraudulent submissions.
