On Friday, the three major U.S. stock indices closed lower. In contrast, the Hang Seng Index ADR rose proportionally, closing at 25,531.05 points, an increase of 65.45 points or 0.26% compared to its Hong Kong close. Most large-cap blue-chip stocks declined. HSBC Holdings ended at HK$122.42, down 0.07% from its Hong Kong closing price. Tencent Holdings closed at HK$547.516, unchanged from its Hong Kong close.
