Today, Huangpu District held the "Autumn Jobs to the Grassroots, Zero-Distance Service to the People" 2026 autumn special job fair and high-quality employment and entrepreneurship development policy launch event at the Bund Central Plaza. The event closely aligned with the talent attraction and cultivation needs of the "1+4+X" key industries, integrating policies, industry, jobs, and other resources. At the main ceremony in the indoor venue, Huangpu District officially released a new round of "Implementation Measures for Promoting High-Quality Development of Employment and Entrepreneurship," further improving the district-level full-cycle employment and entrepreneurship policy system and providing solid institutional safeguards for employers and employment and entrepreneurship groups. On site, an AI-empowered "through train" training results showcase and job placement ceremony was held simultaneously, highlighting the practical results of AI-empowered youth training and employment and delivering jobs on the spot to representative trainees. In 2026, the Huangpu District Youth Employment Assistance Through Train Job-Seeking Ability Training Camp served a total of 76 trainees, 22 of whom found employment within one week after completing the program. The training targeted job-seeking pain points such as resume optimization, interview practice, and workplace awareness with precise instruction, building a full-chain service of "training and cultivation, job referral, follow-up visits" to help trainees address shortcomings, strengthen their job-seeking competitiveness, connect with suitable positions, and continuously enrich Huangpu's distinctive youth employment service practices.
The outdoor special job fair opened at the same time, bringing together nearly 100 employers, covering Huangpu's "1+4+X" key industries and high-quality small and medium-sized enterprises, offering more than 1,500 positions and providing abundant job choices for key groups such as college graduates. Multiple special function zones were set up on site to provide job seekers with full-chain, one-stop employment and entrepreneurship services: a 15-minute job-seeking empowerment station offered services such as AI resume generation and resume optimization; an AI interview experience area simulated real interview scenarios to help job seekers hone their interview skills; a "Time-Honored Brands, New Vitality" online entrepreneurship livestream showcase area was vibrant and exciting; a comprehensive employment service zone opened a 15-minute employment service window, providing career guidance, entrepreneurship guidance, skills training consultations, and expert consultations; a youth and college student employment service section handled consultations on employment policies, labor rights protection, and social security and medical insurance matters in a centralized manner; and a comprehensive consultation zone integrated policy consultation windows from multiple departments, including the Disabled Persons' Federation, the Communist Youth League, the trade union, and veterans affairs, while also setting up a people's suggestions collection point to widely gather public opinions. According to statistics, offline participation totaled nearly 1,000 person-times, online livestream views reached 59,975 person-times, and a total of 2,011 resumes were submitted online and offline, including 614 received offline, with 124 intended hires.
The human resources and social security department of Huangpu District said it will take this event as an opportunity to continue leveraging the advantages of industrial agglomeration in the central urban area, deepen the full-cycle employment and entrepreneurship service system, closely align with the talent attraction and cultivation needs of the "1+4+X" key industries, coordinate employment assistance, entrepreneurship cultivation, and skills training as an integrated effort, create an employment environment that attracts both locals and newcomers, enrich the fertile ground for entrepreneurship that grows toward the sun, and attract more young talents to put down roots in Huangpu and build their careers.
