AI X Tech (01490) released its sixth Environmental, Social and Governance Report, covering the 12 months to 31 December 2025 and detailing progress on climate, workforce and governance targets.
Environmental performance • Total greenhouse-gas emissions fell 32 % year-on-year to 71.13 tCO2e. Scope 1 accounted for 2.70 tCO2e, Scope 2 for 12.05 tCO2e and Scope 3—mainly business air travel—for 56.38 tCO2e. • Electricity use and petrol consumption dropped to 29,800.76 kWh, a 56 % reduction versus 2024, equivalent to 27.95 kWh per square metre and 292.16 kWh per employee. • The company targets a 10 % cut in energy, water and GHG intensity by 2031 (base year 2022) and is promoting video conferences and high-speed rail to curb travel-related emissions. • Air pollutants from company vehicles were limited to 17.32 kg of NOx, 0.01 kg of SOx and 1.61 kg of particulate matter.
Climate-risk management • A board-level ESG Task Force used HKEX “Turquoise” (≈1.8 °C) and “Brown” (≈4.4 °C) scenarios to test resilience, prioritising extreme-weather contingency plans, cloud migration and NEV-focused marketing solutions. • Short-, medium- and long-term strategies address acute weather disruptions, rising cooling costs and potential carbon-pricing on air travel.
Workforce and safety • Headcount stood at 102, with males at 53 % and females at 47 %. Turnover rate reached 54 %, primarily among frontline staff. • All employees received training, totalling 1,090 hours, or an average of 10.7 hours per person. • No work-related injuries or fatalities were recorded for the third consecutive year.
Governance and supply chain • The group maintained zero cases of bribery, fraud or money laundering and operates a whistle-blowing mechanism that protects reporters from retaliation. • Supplier oversight covered 280 vendors—269 in Mainland China and 11 in Hong Kong—each screened for compliance, environmental practices and ethical standards.
Product responsibility • No customer complaints, product recalls or regulatory actions were reported. Data protection controls include multi-layer firewalls, encryption and strict access rights, aligning with China’s Cybersecurity, Data Security and Personal Information Protection laws.
AI X Tech stated that the Board has reviewed and approved the ESG disclosures and will continue to update climate targets and transition planning in future reports.
