Stock News08-04

CHENQI TECH (09680) shares surged nearly 11%, with the stock trading at 6.995 Hong Kong dollars, up 10.86% at the time of publication, on turnover of 1.0989 million Hong Kong dollars.

On the news front, on August 3rd, CHENQI TECH released a positive profit forecast. The group expects its total comprehensive income for the first half of 2026 to be no less than 3.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of at least 132.6%. The net comprehensive loss attributable to equity shareholders is projected to be no more than 75 million yuan, a significant reduction of at least 50 million yuan compared to the same period last year, representing a decrease of no less than 40%.

CHENQI TECH explained that the revenue increase is primarily due to a significant rise in the number of ride-hailing service orders within its mobility services segment, as well as increased sales and marketing efforts for technical services. The narrowing of the loss is attributed to improved operational efficiency and optimized cost structures in the ride-hailing services of the mobility segment, which has driven continuous gross profit growth. Additionally, an increase in the volume of technical services business has correspondingly boosted gross profit.
