BIDU-SWR Executes HKD 49.99 Million Share Buyback, Lifts September Repurchases to 7.25 Million Shares

Baidu, Inc. (stock name: BIDU-SWR) filed a Next Day Disclosure Return on 23 September 2026, detailing continued share repurchases on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX).

On 23 September 2026, the company bought back 561,800 Class A ordinary shares at prices ranging from HKD 88.55 to HKD 90.00 per share, for an aggregate consideration of HKD 49.99 million. The shares are designated for cancellation.

Including purchases made between 7 and 22 September 2026, Baidu has now repurchased a total of 7.25 million shares this month that are pending cancellation. The cumulative repurchases represent approximately 0.33 % of the current issued share base of 2.21 billion shares and 0.27 % of the 273.36 million-share mandate approved on 26 August 2026.

The issued share capital remains at 2.21 billion shares until the pending cancellations are processed. In line with HKEX regulations, Baidu is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales until 23 October 2026.
