HC ENV TECH (02265) Issues Profit Alert, Forecasts Annual Profit Attributable to Owners of RMB88-89 Million

Stock News03-18

HC ENV TECH (02265) has announced that the group anticipates recording a profit attributable to owners of the company of approximately RMB 88 million to RMB 89 million for the year ending December 31, 2025. This represents an increase of approximately 46.7% to 48.3% compared to the profit attributable to owners of approximately RMB 60 million for the year ended December 31, 2024. The group also expects to achieve revenue of approximately RMB 325 million for the year, an increase of about 39.1% compared to the revenue of approximately RMB 234 million for the same period in 2024. The board of directors attributes the increases in both profit and revenue primarily to the rise in selling prices of the group's main products, sulfur concentrate and sulfuric acid, during the year, which significantly boosted overall revenue and profitability. The group's gross profit margin increased from approximately 56.3% for the year ended December 31, 2024, to about 59.7% for the current year. Furthermore, the commencement of production and sales of new downstream sulfuric acid products, namely sulfamic acid and sulfur-magnesium fertilizer, in the fourth quarter of the year contributed additional revenue. However, the year-on-year increase in profit attributable to owners was partially offset by rises in administrative expenses and research and development-related costs during the year.
