As of 5 p.m. on the 10th, the national summer wheat harvest area reached 248 million mu, representing a progress rate of 73.06%. The harvest in Anhui province has concluded, is nearly finished in Henan, is over 90% complete in Jiangsu, exceeds 55% in Shandong, is around 40% in Shaanxi, approximately 30% in Hebei, and over 20% in Shanxi.

The "2026 China Marine Economy Development Index" released by the Ministry of Natural Resources on the 10th shows that last year, China's marine economy development index was 128.8, a growth of 2.2% compared to the previous year. Data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on the 10th shows that in May, China's consumer market operated generally stably. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose by 1.2% year-on-year, with the increase rate unchanged from the previous month. Specifically, prices for industrial consumer goods increased by 3.9% year-on-year, 0.4 percentage points higher than the previous month. Prices for travel services rose by 2.8% year-on-year, while price increases for other services remained generally stable.
In May, the Producer Price Index (PPI) for manufactured goods increased by 3.9% year-on-year. After turning positive in March, it has now risen year-on-year for three consecutive months, with the growth rate expanding by 1.1 percentage points compared to the previous month. Notably, driven by factors like the green transition and AI development, prices in the non-ferrous metals industry maintained an upward trend. Factory gate prices for the electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing sector, as well as the computer, communication, and other electronic equipment manufacturing sector, have shown improvement for five consecutive months.
