Fuel Price Update: Sharp Rise Projected at 200 Yuan per Ton Starting 11 September, 24:00

Deep News13:40

At 24:00 on 11 September (Friday night), domestic refined oil product prices are set to undergo an adjustment. In line with the oil pricing mechanism, domestic fuel stations will implement the first oil price change for September at 24:00 on Friday. Out of the 10 working days allocated for the current pricing cycle, 60% have now been completed. Due to consecutive gains in international crude oil prices last Saturday, the crude oil change rate has now reached 4.04%. This suggests an increase of 200 yuan per tonne in wholesale prices, translating into higher pump prices of between 0.15 yuan and 0.18 yuan per litre for both petrol and diesel.

However, it is important to note that several statistical days remain in the current pricing period, so some uncertainty persists. Should international crude prices rebound sharply in the coming sessions, the projected adjustment could shift accordingly. The final approved range will be announced officially by the National Development and Reform Commission. (Please note: the increase mentioned is only an institutional estimate; the official adjustment will prevail.) Share this update to keep others informed!
