On April 28, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions held a ceremony celebrating International Workers' Day and presented the National May Day Labor Awards. A total of 3,024 awards were granted for the year 2026, including 379 May Day Labor Certificates, 1,462 May Day Labor Medals, and 1,183 National Worker Pioneer Commendations.

CCB saw two individuals and two groups receive national honors. Fang Shikui, Branch Manager of CCB's Yueyang County Branch in Hunan Province, and Wang Junying, a Client Manager at CCB's Hongta Sub-branch in Yuxi City, Yunnan Province, were awarded the National May Day Labor Medal. The International Business Department of CCB's Manzhouli Branch in Inner Mongolia and the Business Office of CCB's Chongqing Yangjiaping Sub-branch were recognized as National Worker Pioneer Units.

The following are brief profiles of the honored individuals and teams.

**National May Day Labor Medal** **Fang Shikui** Branch Manager, CCB Yueyang County Branch, Assistant Accountant

As a grassroots branch manager, Fang Shikui established a county-wide "Party Fee Cloud" platform that achieved full coverage across local institutions. He promoted rural credit products, affectionately referred to by farmers as "Pigeon Loans" and "Rice Loans," which helped hundreds of households increase income and efficiency while supporting the "Yueyang Pigeon" brand in expanding beyond Hunan. Leading his team, he diligently advanced five key areas of financial services, providing high-quality support for national-level power development projects under the 14th Five-Year Plan and multiple provincial and municipal key initiatives.

**Wang Junying** Client Manager, CCB Hongta Sub-branch, Yuxi City

With over a decade of experience at the grassroots level, Wang Junying has demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility through her actions and delivered warmth through considerate service. She often steps out of the branch to bring financial literacy sessions directly to factory floors, attentively listening to workers' needs and explaining complex financial solutions in simple, relatable terms. During critical periods of public service, such as shantytown renovation projects, she introduced innovative mobile service models, carrying equipment through neighborhoods to handle administrative matters with care. For elderly residents who have difficulty traveling, she makes home visits to resolve their inquiries, shortening the distance through dedicated effort.

**National Worker Pioneer Unit** **International Business Department, CCB Manzhouli Branch**

Manzhouli, China's largest land port border crossing, is a key node in the Belt and Road Initiative and the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor. The International Business Department at CCB's Manzhouli Branch introduced an innovative "Branch Resident System," stationing key staff directly at service points. The team facilitated the nation's first "Digital Warehouse Receipt Financing" loan and pioneered the region's first "Dual Currency Treasure" service. Through the "Customs-Bank Key Pass" initiative, they helped over 400 companies save more than RMB 2 million in costs. In 2025, the team accounted for 72% of foreign exchange transactions in the region, with intermediate business income surging 111.52% year-on-year.

**Business Office, CCB Chongqing Yangjiaping Sub-branch**

For 26 years, the Business Office of CCB's Yangjiaping Sub-branch has served the mountain city of Chongqing, deepening its "Laborer Bay+" model and providing services to over 10,000 outdoor workers. It has been recognized as the "Most Beautiful Chongqing Worker Bay." The office also developed a specialized elderly care financial service outlet named "Health & Wellness," supported by the Zhang Fuqing Financial Service Team. Through improvements in facilities, process optimization, and expanded public welfare efforts, the team safeguards the well-being of senior citizens. It has taken a leading role in supporting the regional economy, meeting public needs, and fulfilling social responsibilities, earning honors such as "National Top 1,000 Model Unit" and "Five-Star Business Outlet."
