Golden autumn has arrived, bringing the fragrance of ripening rice, and the current period is the critical window for rushing the autumn harvest. To take full advantage of clear weather and efficiently advance the autumn harvest, while minimizing the impact of changing weather on production, Xihe Town has adhered to early planning, rapid action and solid implementation, fully organizing autumn harvesting operations and making every effort to ensure that grain is safely stored and that a bountiful harvest is secured.
Since the beginning of this year, the town has strictly fulfilled its responsibility for grain production, steadily carrying out field management, pest and disease control, and drought relief to protect the harvest. Crops have generally grown well, laying a solid foundation for a stable and high-yielding autumn harvest this year.
Since the start of the autumn harvest season, the town's Party and government leaders have taken the lead in planning and coordinating dispatches. They promptly assessed the planting area, machinery demand and harvesting progress of each village and group, reasonably allocated harvesters, transport vehicles and other agricultural machinery, guided farmers to harvest in staggered time slots and work in an orderly manner, and effectively improved the efficiency of autumn harvest operations.
