Governance measures were strengthened through a three-tier ESG structure led by the board, an ESG Committee (two executive and four independent non-executive directors) and dedicated working groups. During the year the company’s Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index rating improved from “BBB+” to “A-”, while Wind’s ESG rating rose from “A” to “AA”.

Environmental indicators showed steady improvement: • Scope 1 + 2 greenhouse-gas emission intensity decreased 4.6 % year on year to 23.38 tCO₂e per kilometre. • Energy consumption intensity declined 4.5 % to 48.48 MWh per kilometre, and water-use intensity fell 13.5 % to 326.09 m³ per kilometre. • Recycling of reclaimed asphalt reached 100 %. • The group’s photovoltaic installations generated 8.07 million kWh, avoiding an estimated 8,050.64 tCO₂e. Yuexiu Transport reaffirmed four “Green Highway” targets covering further cuts to carbon, energy and water intensity, alongside maintaining full asphalt recycling.

Safety performance remained robust: the traffic-accident rate on controlled roads was below 0.01 %, work-related fatalities were zero and safety training covered 100 % of employees. Investment in safety reached RMB 30.64 million; 1,568 inspections identified 3,466 hazards, with a 99.9 % rectification rate.

The workforce totaled 2,267 (44 % female). All employees received training, averaging 46 hours each. Staff volunteer service exceeded 72,000 hours, and community donations totaled RMB 1.55 million.

Supply-chain oversight now covers 4,388 suppliers, with annual credit evaluations, integrity clauses and an expanded digital “Smart Procurement” platform managing 15 functional modules.

Looking ahead, Yuexiu Transport plans to embed climate targets into operations, continue rolling out photovoltaic projects, expand charging infrastructure in service areas and deepen lean, low-carbon, smart-road initiatives under China’s “15th Five-Year Plan” for transport.
