Data collected over the past 24 hours by the Baijiu Price Index shows that the average retail prices for major Chinese baijiu products experienced a slight overall decline on June 20th. If one bottle of each major product were bundled for sale, the total price today would be 9,875 yuan, a minor decrease of 2 yuan from yesterday. This marks the fifth consecutive day of decline and sets a new low for the past month. While today's drop is modest, the total price has retreated 70 yuan from the 23-day peak recorded on June 15th, indicating a further consolidation in a lower trading range. Market sentiment at the retail level remains cautious, with significant price divergence among core products continuing.
Today, among the 11 major baijiu products, five rose, five fell, and one remained flat, showing a basic equilibrium between gainers and losers. However, the declines were relatively steeper. On the upside, Guojiao 1573 led the gains, rising 7 yuan per bottle, rebounding from yesterday's one-month low to reclaim the 880 yuan level. Yanghe Dream Blue M6+ and Xijiu Junpin both increased by 5 yuan per bottle, with the former moving back above the 600 yuan mark and the latter ending a three-day losing streak. Feitian Moutai and Qinghua Fen 20 both saw minor increases of 1 yuan per bottle.
On the downside, Qinghua Lang led the declines, falling 7 yuan per bottle. After retreating for two consecutive days from its recent one-month high, it is now approaching the 700 yuan level again. Wuliangye 1618 and Gujing Gongjiu Gu 20 both dropped 5 yuan per bottle, with the latter having declined for five straight days to its second-lowest level in a month. Wuliangye Pu Wu Eighth Generation fell 3 yuan per bottle, and Crystal Jiannanchun decreased by 1 yuan per bottle, matching its one-month low. The price for Premium Moutai remained unchanged from the previous day.
The daily data for the Baijiu Price Index is sourced from approximately 200 collection points reasonably distributed across major regions nationwide. These points include, but are not limited to, authorized distributors, independent dealers, e-commerce platforms, and retail outlets. The raw data consists of actual, transacted retail prices from these points over the preceding 24 hours, aiming to provide an objective, scientific, and fully traceable dataset on the market prices of renowned baijiu brands. Since the official i-Moutai platform began selling Feitian Moutai at 1,499 yuan per bottle on New Year's Day (adjusted to 1,539 yuan on March 31st) and Premium Moutai at 2,299 yuan per bottle on January 9th (adjusted to 2,359 yuan on May 16th), the gravitational influence of this new channel on the average retail prices of these two products has gradually become apparent. The daily baijiu prices published follow a calculation rule weighted by actual transaction volume, and verifiable prices from this channel have been incorporated into the retail price calculations for these two products.
In other significant baijiu industry news, JD.com's alcohol division released its "JD Famous Baijiu 618 Peak Battle Report" early yesterday morning, covering the period from May 13th to June 18th.
