OMNIVISION (00501) Announces Executive Director Resignation and New Candidate Nomination

OmniVision Integrated Circuits Group, Inc. (OMNIVISION, 00501) announced that an executive director and deputy general manager, Mr. Jia Yuan, has tendered his resignation due to personal career plans. According to the announcement dated March 6, 2026, his resignation will become effective upon the election of a new executive director. There was no disagreement with the board or other matters requiring shareholder attention.

Mr. Jia will also cease to serve as an authorized representative under Rule 3.05 of the Listing Rules once his resignation becomes effective. The board extended its gratitude for his contributions and intends to make a separate announcement about the new authorized representative in due course.

The board further revealed a proposal to nominate Dr. Gao Wenbo as a candidate for executive director. Dr. Gao, currently the general manager of OmniVision Integrated Circuits Group, Inc., previously served in various positions at BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd. from July 2003 to October 2025, including a directorship there and at its listed subsidiary. He holds a Ph.D. in microelectronics and solid-state electronics and has received a China Patent Gold Award.

Dr. Gao’s appointment is subject to shareholder approval at a general meeting. If appointed, his remuneration will be determined by the board with reference to his responsibilities and prevailing market conditions.
