Newborn Town Intensifies Buyback: HK$1.98 million Spent on 22 July, July Total Nears HK$19.58 million

Bulletin Express07-22

Newborn Town Inc. disclosed a fresh round of share repurchases in a Next Day Disclosure Return filed on 22 July 2026, detailing both the latest on-market transaction and the month-to-date activity under its current buyback mandate.

The latest trade—completed on 22 July—saw the company repurchase 214,000 H-shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices between HK$9.14 and HK$9.38 per share, for an aggregate consideration of HK$1.98 million.

Including this purchase, Newborn Town has conducted 13 on-market buybacks between 2 July and 22 July. These pending-cancellation shares total 2.20 million, equivalent to approximately 0.16 % of the company’s 1.40 billion issued shares. The cumulative cash outlay for the July purchases amounts to roughly HK$19.58 million, based on the volume-weighted prices disclosed for each trading day.

Since shareholders granted the current mandate on 21 May 2026, Newborn Town has repurchased 8.46 million shares—0.60 % of the share base at the mandate date—leaving significant headroom within the 141.30 million-share authorization.

Despite the buybacks, the registered share capital remains unchanged at 1,403,002,391 shares because none of the repurchased shares have yet been cancelled. The company continues to hold no treasury shares.

In line with Hong Kong listing rules, the issuer faces a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares, selling, or transferring any treasury shares; this period ends on 21 August 2026.
