Geely Automobile Holdings (00175) Announces Changes in Issued Shares and Share Repurchases

Geely Automobile Holdings Limited (00175) released a Next Day Disclosure Return dated 20 January 2026, detailing changes in its issued shares and ongoing share repurchases.

The total number of issued shares (excluding treasury shares) rose from 10,898,642,297 to 10,898,893,297 following the issuance of two batches of new ordinary shares—233,000 and 18,000 respectively—at HKD 9.56 per share under the share option scheme adopted on 28 April 2023.

Meanwhile, multiple share repurchases conducted between 8 December 2025 and 20 January 2026 have not yet been cancelled. The largest single-day volume, 9,007,000 shares, occurred on 12 January 2026. On 20 January 2026, 3,788,000 shares were repurchased with a highest repurchase price of HKD 16.95 and a lowest of HKD 16.69, totaling HKD 63,628,649.69. Under the repurchase mandate dated 30 May 2025, 48,029,000 shares have been repurchased so far, representing 0.47629% of the total issued shares as of the mandate date, with a moratorium period set to last until 19 February 2026.
