The most severe congestion was observed on Renmin Middle Road, from Dongfeng West Road to Beijing Road, traveling west to east. The congestion index reached 3.1, with an average travel speed of only 13.3 kilometers per hour. A list of the top 10 most congested roads in Kunming was also generated.
