Board Appointments Announced for PetroChina

PetroChina Company Limited (HKG: 00857) has announced the election of a new board of directors. Mr. Dai Houliang has been elected as a director. Mr. Zhou Xinhuai, Mr. Duan Liangwei, and Mr. Zhou Song have been elected as non-executive directors. Mr. Ren Lixin, Mr. Zhang Daowei, and Mr. Song Dayong have been elected as executive directors.

Additionally, Mr. He Jinglin, Mr. Yan Yan, Ms. Liu Xiaolei, Mr. Zhang Yuxin, and Mr. Wu Jianing have been elected as independent non-executive directors. All these appointments are effective immediately.

Mr. Jiang Xiaoming did not stand for re-election as a director due to regulatory term limits. Consequently, Mr. Jiang will cease to serve as a company director on June 9, 2026.
