China Wacan Calls 29 Apr 2026 EGM to Vote on Corporate Rebranding

China Wacan Group Company Limited will convene an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on 29 April 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in Shenzhen to seek shareholder approval for a proposed name change.

Key proposal • Special resolution: subject to approval from the Cayman Islands Registrar of Companies, management is requesting shareholder consent to rename the company from “China Wacan Group Company Limited” to “Junwea Group (China) Company Limited” and to adopt the new Chinese name “巨美集團(中國)股份有限公司.” • Implementation: any director or the company secretary will be authorised to execute the necessary filings and registrations.

Voting and share registration • Voting will be conducted by poll in line with Hong Kong Listing Rules. • The share register will remain open; however, transfers accompanying relevant certificates must reach Boardroom Share Registrars (HK) Limited by 4:30 p.m. on 28 April 2026 to qualify for voting rights at the EGM.

Logistics and contingencies • Venue: Unit 2102, Building 4, Tianan Yungu Industrial Park Phase II, Gangtou Community, Bantian Street, Longgang District, Shenzhen. • In the event that a black rainstorm warning, typhoon signal no. 8 or above, or “extreme conditions” are in force after 7:00 a.m. on the meeting date, the EGM will be postponed; further details would be released via the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s news platform.

Board composition As of the notice date (14 April 2026), the board comprises three executive directors—Chairman Zhou Zhenlin, Peng Yunying and Guo Xianjiao—alongside three independent non-executive directors: Ding Xin, Zhang Lingke and Professor Lam Sing Kwong Simon.
