BUTONG GROUP Buys Back 23,000 Shares; Treasury Stock Rises to 2.00 Million

Hong Kong – 09 July 2026 – BUTONG GROUP disclosed a share buyback of 23,000 ordinary shares on 9 July 2026 via on-market transactions, paying an aggregate HK$0.69 million at prices ranging from HK$29.97 to HK$30.00 per share. The volume-weighted average purchase price was HK$29.99.

Following the repurchase, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) decreased marginally by 0.03 % to 88.75 million shares. Treasury shares increased to 2.00 million, bringing total issued shares (including treasury stock) to a steady 90.75 million. Treasury shares now represent approximately 2.20 % of total issued capital.

The transaction was executed under the general mandate approved on 05 June 2026, which authorises the repurchase of up to 9.03 million shares. Cumulative buybacks under this mandate have reached 1.53 million shares, equivalent to 1.70 % of the company’s issued shares at the mandate date, leaving headroom for an additional 7.50 million shares.

In accordance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, BUTONG GROUP is subject to a 30-day moratorium on new share issues or treasury share disposals, effective until 08 August 2026.
