Q TECH (01478) announced that its mobile phone camera module sales volume reached 38.053 million units in November 2025, representing a month-on-month decrease of 13.6% and a year-on-year decline of 5.6%. Total camera module sales stood at 41.755 million units, down 11.9% sequentially but up 0.4% annually. Fingerprint recognition module sales totaled 17.795 million units, falling 3.4% month-over-month and 8.8% year-over-year.
The company attributed the sequential decline in camera module sales primarily to customer project cycles and seasonal factors. However, sales in other application segments showed significant year-on-year growth, driven by increasing consumer demand for handheld imaging devices and rising adoption of camera modules in smart driving solutions. Consequently, the group's camera module sales for IoT and smart vehicle applications recorded substantial annual increases.
The sharp year-on-year growth in ultrasonic fingerprint recognition module sales was mainly due to the expanding market penetration of domestically produced ultrasonic fingerprint modules.
