On November 25, Bank of China Chairman Ge Haijiao met with Rebecca Jackson, Executive Director of the UK Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), at the bank's headquarters in Beijing. The discussions focused on cybersecurity management, asset quality control, and data governance. Bank of China Chief Risk Officer Zhao Rong also attended the meeting.
Both parties agreed to enhance resource allocation in data and artificial intelligence initiatives, deepen practical cooperation across multiple sectors, and jointly foster stable development in China-UK relations.
