On February 14, the Administrative Penalty Decision Disclosure Form issued by the People's Bank of China Shuozhou Branch showed that Shanxi Shanyin Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. was warned and fined 15,000 yuan for distributing torn or soiled renminbi to the public.
The penalty, referenced as Shuoyin Fa Jue Zi [2026] No. 2, was issued on February 10, 2026, by the People's Bank of China Shuozhou Branch and is valid for three years.
