Shanghai's municipal government has rolled out a new blueprint aimed at advancing the performance and deployment of intelligent robotics across a wide range of sectors.
According to the recently issued "15th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Strategic Emerging Industries in Shanghai," local authorities are focusing on strengthening the ability of robots to perform precise operations and maintain stable functionality in complex, unstructured environments.
The plan highlights the need to expand application scenarios extensively, covering key areas such as industrial manufacturing, medical rehabilitation, logistics and warehousing, and commercial services, as part of the city's broader push to accelerate innovation in strategic industries.
