Just my two cents, but as an avid VR user the Quest 3 is just better value for money. Unless you specifically want it to look like a bug man, go the Q3.

The training takes as many as four days, and courses started last week, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the efforts are private.The Vision Pro, which mixes virtual content with the real-world views surrounding a user, is Apple’s biggest new product in years and kicked off what Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook has called the era of spatial computing. But the Vision Pro’s hefty price tag — and the lack of compelling applications — has kept it a niche product.A customer with an Apple Vision Pro headset.Expanding outside the US gives Apple a fresh chance to win over fans. The company plans to bring the Vision Pro to international markets for the first time after its Worldwide Developers Conference early next month, the people said.Apple has maintained its usual secrecy and hasn’t told employees in the training sessions where exactly the Vision Pro will be available. But the company is training workers from Germany, France, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and China, indicating that those areas will be some of the first international markets for the device.An Apple spokeswoman declined to comment. The company previously said it would sell the device outside the US later this year, and Cook has specified that the Vision Pro will arrive in China in 2024.The training sessions are reminiscent of those held in Cupertino in the weeks before the Vision Pro went on sale in the US in early February. Customers who visit an Apple Store to try out the device are presented with roughly a 20-minute pitch on the features of the Vision Pro.Though the headset saw a surge of interest out of the gate in the US, demand has died down and some retail stores are selling only a couple of units per week at most, Bloomberg News has reported. The number of appointments for demos has also declined significantly, with some stores saying that some customers book demos and never actually show up.Overseas customers have been able to get the Vision Pro through unofficial resellers, and there was an initial burst of demand through those channels. But consumers in places like Hong Kong are now seeing the gadget resold below the retail price.Apple has been trying to reverse the tapering demand by promoting the Vision Pro more heavily on its website and quizzing employees after demos to determine why a customer may have opted against buying the device. In an unrelated development, the marketing chief for the Vision Pro retired last month.When Apple announced its earnings for the March quarter, it didn’t specify how the Vision Pro has fared to date. But the company’s business unit that houses the gadget — wearables, home and accessories — saw sales decline 10% despite the headset launching during the quarter.The international expansion could help, with China and Japan looking like promising areas for the technology. Consumers in those countries have shown strong interest in virtual reality, one of the core features of the device. But the high price of the product could remain a stumbling block, coming in at more than triple the price of an iPhone 15 Pro.The Vision Pro could get another boost in June, when Apple debuts the second version of its visionOS operating system for the device.
