GTHT Highlights Marginal Changes in Humanoid Robotics Industry, Expects Accelerated Commercialization

Stock News12-08

GTHT released a research report stating that recent advancements in policies, products, and orders in the global humanoid robotics industry indicate the sector is at a critical early stage of commercialization. The firm emphasizes the impact of marginal industry changes on both domestic and international high-quality companies. The report suggests that domestic and overseas humanoid robotics industries may achieve synergy, accelerating global commercialization. Key points from GTHT are as follows:

UBTECH ROBOTICS (09880) and Zhuo Shi Technology have formed a strategic partnership, aiming to deploy 10,000 robots over the next five years. On November 28, the two companies signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Shenzhen, focusing on "industry models + embodied intelligence." Their collaboration aims to implement large-scale model solutions for humanoid robots across multiple sectors. This marks the first time such a partnership has moved beyond the "proof-of-concept" phase directly into commercial application.

Zhongqing Robotics launched the T800 model, following its earlier breakthroughs in natural gait walking (SE01) and humanoid robot front flips (PM01). The company continues to advance embodied intelligence, targeting the transition from technological exploration to industrial application. On December 2, Zhongqing officially released the T800, a full-size, high-efficiency general-purpose humanoid robot, priced starting at RMB 180,000. The product lineup includes four versions—Basic, Ecosystem (open-source), Sharpened (Pro), and Flagship (Max)—tailored to diverse scenario requirements. This launch signifies Zhongqing's breakthrough from "technical feasibility" to "scalable usability," entering a new phase of large-scale deployment.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration has shifted focus to robotics after prioritizing AI development. Reports indicate U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has been meeting with robotics industry CEOs to accelerate sector growth. The administration is considering issuing a robotics-related executive order next year, while the Department of Transportation plans to establish a robotics task force by year-end.

Risks include slower-than-expected industry development, delays in domestic policy implementation, and potential changes in technology pathways.
